Jakarta (B2B) - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (PT KAI) menyatakan diperkirakan diperlukan waktu satu bulan untuk memperbaiki rel kereta api yang rusak akibat tanah longsor di Cilebut, Bogor, Rabu.
Kepala Humas KAI Sugeng Priyono mengatakan, Kamis, perusahaan akan mencoba mengoperasikan satu jalur kereta api setelah seminggu perbaikan, namun tidak akan mengambil risiko dengan terburu-buru mengoperasikan rel kereta api karena akan memperparah longsor.
"Kami membutuhkan sekitar satu minggu untuk memperbaiki salah satu jalur kereta api dan satu bulan untuk memperbaiki kedua jalur kereta," kata Sugeng.
Pada Rabu sore, hujan lebat menyebabkan tanah longsor di titik Km 45 dekat stasiun Cilebut.
Direktur Utama KAI, Ignasius Jonan mengatakan pihaknya akan memberikan bantuan kepada warga yang rumahnya tertimbun tanah longsor.
"Kami akan memeriksa apakah ini (tertimbun) rumah milik atau tidak. Bagi mereka yang membangun rumah secara legal, kami tidak hanya memberi bantuan tapi juga membantu mereka untuk membangun kembali rumahnya," kata Jonan. Dia menambahkan, bahwa warga yang tidak memiliki dokumen sah akan menerima bantuan separuhnya.
Wakil Kepala Stasiun Kereta Bogor, Enjang Syarif Budiman mengatakan Stasiun Bogor mencatat 35 ribu penumpang per hari. Kebanyakan dari mereka adalah pekerja yang tinggal di Bogor, tetapi bekerja di ibukota, atau pedagang yang menjalankan usahanya di beberapa pasar seperti Tanah Abang.
