APA hubungan menantu ideal dengan donor darah? Wakil Presiden Jusuf Kalla (JK) punya jawabannya.
"Sebelum melamar, tanya dulu pacar anaknya. Apakah sudah pernah mendonorkan darah atau belum," kata JK dalam temu asih dengan pendonor darah 100 kali di Jakarta, Kamis malam.
Menurut pengusaha asal Sulawesi Selatan ini, apabila seorang lelaki mendonorkan darahnya maka berarti dia bebas dari penyakit- penyakit seperti sipilis atau HIV/AIDS.
Dia mendorong agar donor darah dapat menjadi gaya hidup, terutama sekali generasi muda. Donor darah, kata JK, tidak hanya membantu sesama tetapi juga menyehatkan.
Dengan jumlah penduduk yang mencapai 240 juta jiwa, maka diperlukan setidaknya 4,5 juta kantong darah setiap tahun. PMI selalu mencoba sekuat tenaga memenuhi keperluan itu.

“Before proposing your daughter, ask him whether he ever donated his blood or not,” said him in a meeting with donors already donating blood for 100 times in Jakarta on Thursday night.
According to the South Sulawesi entrepreneur, if a man donates his blood, it means that he is free from diseases such as syphilis or HIV/AIDS.
He tries to make blood donor as part of life style especially for young people. He said that blood donor activity does not only help other people, but that it is also healthy for the body.
With 240 million people in the country, there needs to be 4.5 million of blood sacks annually. PMI (Indonesian Red Cross) always tries to fulfill the need.
