Jakarta (B2B) - Sekitar 22.000 personel tentara dan polisi akan dikerahkan untuk mengamankan pelantikan Presiden dan Wakil Presiden terpilih pada 20 Oktober, kata Kepala Polri Jenderal Sutarman di Istana Negara Jakarta, Senin.
Ia menjelaskan, penjagaan akan dilakukan dalam empat lingkaran yakni di dalam gedung MPR/DPR/DPD), halaman gedung MPR/DPR/DPD), jalan raya di sekitar Gedung MPR/DPR/DPD, dan sentra-sentra perekonomian seperti pusat perbelanjaan.
Kepala Badan Intelijen Negara Marciano Norman mengatakan tidak ada indikasi acara pelantikan presiden dan wakil presiden akan terganggu.
Marciano Norman mengatakan acara pelantikan Presiden Terpilih Joko Widodo dan Wakil Presiden Terpilih Jusuf Kalla "Insya Allah berjalan sesuai rencana" dan "tidak perlu dikhawatirkan".
Jakarta (B2B) - Indonesian Police Chief General Sutarman announced here on Monday that he will deploy 22 thousand personnel to secure the inauguration of President-elect Joko Widodo and Vice President-elect Jusuf Kalla on October 20.
"To ensure the security of the inauguration, we plan to field more than 22 thousand personnel from the police and the military forces," he stated at State Palace.
He noted that there would be a four-tier security arrangement in place with the first one within the parliament building, the second in the yard of the building, the third in the access roads to the building, and the fourth tier will guard the centers of economic activities.
Marciano Norman, the head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), has forecast that the event would be held smoothly and no significant disruption would occur.
"There has been no indication that significant disruptions would happen at the inauguration on October 20. God willing, it would run as planned, and so, do not worry," he asserted.
