Jakarta (B2B) - Pengacara senior, Adnan Buyung Nasution meminta seluruh hakim Mahkamah Konstitusi mengundurkan diri (MK) dari jabatannya, sebagai bentuk tanggung jawab moral atas kasus dugaan suap yang menimpa Ketua MK, Akil Mochtar.
"Meskipun satu orang yang berbuat tapi hal ini membawa nama baik dan kehormatan institusi, saya anjurkan seluruh hakim MK mengundurkan diri segera," kata Adnan Buyung Nasution kepada pers di komplek parlemen Senayan Jakarta, Senin (7/10).
Kendati begitu, Buyung menilai, putusan MK dalam sejumlah sengketa pemilihan umum kepala daerah (Pilkada) tidak perlu dipersoalkan apabila tidak terbukti ada suap.
"Kalau ada permainan uang barulah dikoreksi putusannya dan hakimnya dicopot lalu menjalani proses hukum," ungkap Buyung.
Jakarta (B2B) - Senior lawyer, Adnan Buyung Nasution requested all judges of the Constitutional Court (MK) to resign from their positions, as the moral responsibility for the arrested Chief Justice Akil Mochtar allegedly involved in a bribery case.
"Despite one person was arrested, but it brings good name and honor of the institution, I recommend all Constitutional Court judges resign immediately," Adnan Buyung Nasution told to the press at the parliament complex Senayan Jakarta, Monday (7/10).
Even so, Nasution assess, Court verdict in a dispute over regional head elections (elections) does not need to be questioned if there is no proven bribery.
"If there are allegations of bribery, then the correcting the decision and remove the judge to undergo a legal process," Nasution said.
