Jakarta (B2B) - Hasil jajak pendapat dari Lingkaran Survei Indonesia (LSI) menunjukkan kebijakan pemerintah menaikkan maupun menurunkan BBM berikut kompensasi kepada warga miskin terkait dengan pamor terhadap tokoh atau partai politik tertentu.

Pengamat LSI Adjie Alfaraby mengatakan berdasarkan hasil jajak pendapat, publik menuding kebijakan politik naik dan turunnya harga BBM disertai kompensasinya terkait erat dengan pencitraan tokoh politik maupun partai politik pendukung pemerintah.

"Hasil survei LSI menunjukkan penolakan publik terhadap kenaikan harga BBM selalu tinggi. Kebijakan kenaikan BBM adalah program pemerintah yang selalu ditolak keras oleh publik," kata Adjie Alfaraby kepada pers terhadap hasil survei LSI mengenai Kebijakan BBM, BLSM dan Efek Elektoralnya di Jakarta, Minggu (23/6).

Menurutnya, terlepas dari argumentasi ekonomi, kebijakan naik turunnya BBM tak lepas dari motivasi dan manuver pencitraan pemerintah maupun partai politik di DPR.

LSI mencatat, kata Adjie, hasil survei kepada masyarakat terhadap penolakan kenaikan harga BBM oleh LSI selalu tinggi mulai 2005, 2008, 2012, 2013.

Agustus 2005 : 82.3% Tolak Kenaikan BBM.
Mei 2008 : 75.1% Tolak Kenaikan BBM.
Maret 2012 : 86.6 % Tolak Kenaikan BBM.
Juni 2013 : 79.21 % Tolak Kenaikan BBM.

Survei LSI yang berlangsung pada 18-20 Juni 2013 melibatkan sekitar 1.220 responden dengan margin error 2,9%.

August 2005: 82.3% increase in fuel declined.
May 2008: 75.1% increase in fuel declined.
March 2012: 86.6% increase in fuel declined.
June 2013: 79.21% reject the fuel price hike.

LSI survey, held on 18-20 June 2013 involved about 1,220 respondents with a margin of error of 2.9%.
