Jakarta [B2B] - Presiden RI Joko Widodo [Jokowi] ikut menghadiri acara Gerakan Tanam Pohon Bersama di Hutan JIEP Kawasan Industri Pulo Gadung, Jakarta Timur, Rabu [29/11]. 

Jokowi menekankan bahwa gerakan ini sangat penting dalam upaya mengantisipasi perubahan iklim serta mengatasi polusi udara.

"Ini adalah dalam rangka mengantisipasi perubahan iklim, mengantisipasi pemanasan global yang sudah kita rasakan bersama-sama dan nyata, juga dalam rangka mengatasi polusi yang ada di Jabodetabek," ujar Jokowi.

Jokowi pun mengapresiasi semua pihak yang berkontribusi dalam menyukseskan gerakan penanaman pohon ini.

“Terima kasih yang sebesar-besarnya kepada seluruh masyarakat dan utamanya Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta beserta seluruh pemerintah di Jabodetabek, seluruh perusahaan yang ikut berpartisipasi,” ujarnya.

Jokowi tiba di Hutan JIEP Kawasan Industri Pulo Gadung sekitar pukul 08.35. Dalam acara itu Presiden tampak menanam pohon pulai.

"Saya lihat juga pohonnya sudah besar-besar, ada pohon pulai, pohon trembesi, pohon sawo kecik, bungur. Saya kira semua jenis tanaman tadi ditanam bersama-sama," kata Jokowi.

Jakarta [B2B] - Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) attended the Joint Tree Planting Movement in the JIEP Forest in the Pulo Gadung Industrial Area, East Jakarta, Wednesday (29/11).

The President emphasized that this movement is very important in efforts to anticipate climate change and overcome air pollution.

"This is in the context of anticipating climate change, anticipating global warming which we have felt together and is real, as well as in order to overcome pollution in Jabodetabek." said the President.

The President also appreciated all parties who contributed to the success of this tree planting movement.

"A big thank you to the entire community and especially the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government along with all governments in Jabodetabek, all companies that participated," he said.

President Jokowi arrived at the JIEP Forest in the Pulo Gadung Industrial Area at around 08.35. During the event, the President was seen planting a island tree.

"I also saw that the trees were getting big, there were pulai trees, trembesi trees, sapodilla trees, bungur trees. "I think all types of plants were planted together," said the President.
