Jakarta (B2B) - Pemerintah akan menerapkan pengendalian konsumsi bahan bakar (BBM) subsidi melalui pembatasan pemakaian BBM subsidi pada tingkat wajar mulai Juli 2013. Pembatasan berlaku secara bertahap ke seluruh Indonesia, yang diawali dari Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang dan Bekasi (Jabodetabek).
Direktur Jenderal Minyak dan Gas, Kementerian Energi, Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM) Edy Hermantoro mengatakan, pemerintah akan menerapkan sistem pembatasan konsumsi berbasis sistem berbasis teknologi informasi dengan pemasangan Sistem Monitoring Pengendalian (SMP) BBM subsidi di sekitar 5000-an Stasiun Pengisian Bahan bakar umum (SPBU) yang dimiliki Pertamina.
"Di SPBU-SPBU nanti ada kuotanya. Kalau pembelian melebihi ketentuan maka nozle-nya akan berhenti. Karena bekerja secara elektronis dengan software khusus. Jadi ada nomor-nomor pribadi tertentu di SPBU," ujar Edy di Kementerian ESDM, Jakarta, Senin (25/3).
Jabodetabek dipilih sebagai daerah pertama, kata Edy, karena SPBU Pertamina kebanyakan berada di wilayah tersebut atau sekitar 80% dari total SPBU. Sementara untuk mendata kendaraan di Jabodetabek, Pertamina akan bekerja sama dengan kepolisian.
Menurutnya, pembatasan volume pemakaian BBM kelak tergantung pada jenis kendaraan pribadi, umum dan niaga. "Maksudnya, maksimum konsumsi BBM per hari berapa liter, misalnya satu mobil per hari 20 liter atau 30 liter sesuai jenis mobilnya."
