Jakarta (B2B) - Kembali dari kunjungan kerja di Karawang, Jawa Barat, Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono langsung memanggil Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Mohammad Nuh di Kantor Presiden, Jakarta, Selasa (16/4) pukul 16.00 WIB. Presiden meminta penjelasan soal tertundanya pelaksanaan ujian nasional (UN) di beberapa provinsi.
"Saya akan melaporkan kepada presiden tentang kesiapan pelaksanaan UN pada Kamis (17/4) besok, yang sebelumnya sempat tertunda. Keterlambatan terjadi murni akibat percetakan yang lalai dan membuat semuanya kalang kabut dan merasa sedih," ujar Mendikbud M Nuh dalam keterangan persnya, beberapa saat sebelum menemui Presiden.
M Nuh menampik dugaan adanya 30 variasi paket soal yang menyulitkan percetakan dan menjadi salah satu penyebab naskah soal UN mengalami keterlambatan pengepakan.
"Tidak ada kesulitan. Nyatanya dari enam percetakan, lima tidak ada masalah dan sudah selesai dikirim. Kalau dari enam, lalu empat bermasalah, berarti memang ada sesuatu, " ungkap Mendikbud.
Saat mengetahui hal ini, tepatnya H-3 pelaksanaan UN, Mendikbud menawarkan dua opsi solusi. Opsi pertama adalah penundaan pelaksanaan UN di seluruh provinsi, dan opsi kedua hanya menunda 11 provinsi yang mengalami keterlambatan sementara 22 provinsi lainnya tetap berjalan.
"Kami memutuskan untuk menggeser pelaksanaan UN di 11 provinsi menjadi hari Kamis esok, sedangkan 22 provinsi jalan terus," ujar Mendikbud.
Di bagian lain keterangannya, M Nuh menjelaskan telah menghubungi Kepala Staf Angkatan Udara (KSAU) Marsekal TNI Ida Bagus Putu Dunia untuk membantu penyebaran soal ke beberapa provinsi. Nuh berharap sore ini seluruh soal sudah selesai dan bisa segera dikirim.
"Untuk daerah-daerah timur, seperti Berau, sudah kami kirim. Sekali lagi ini kejadian di luar kemampuan saya pribadi. Karena setiap ditanyakan kepada pihak percetakan, mereka selalu menyampaikan kesiapannya," tambah M Nuh.

M Nuh denies allegations of 30 variations that complicate the matter of package printing company and become one of the causes of delayed national examination script packing.
