Jakarta [B2B] - Presiden Joko Widodo menyoroti berbagai tantangan yang dihadapi Indonesia, termasuk ketidakpastian ekonomi global, konflik geopolitik, dan dampaknya terhadap ekonomi nasional.
Hal ini disampaikan oleh Jokowi usai memimpin Rapat Pimpinan TNI-Polri Tahun 2024 di Markas Besar TNI, Cilangkap, Jakarta, pada Rabu (28/2).
"Kita tahu ketidakpastian ekonomi masih belum jelas, masih belum pasti. Geopolitik dunia juga sulit dihitung, sulit dikalkulasi. Lanskap ekonomi, lanskap politik dunia juga sulit dikalkulasi, sulit dihitung. Kita tahu konflik di Ukraina belum selesai, datang konflik Gaza, ada tambahan Yaman sehingga menyebabkan inflasi pangan melanda dunia," ujar Jokowi.
Dalam menghadapi ketidakpastian global, Jokowi menekankan pentingnya menjaga stabilitas ekonomi Indonesia, yang saat ini memiliki probabilitas resesi yang rendah dibandingkan dengan negara-negara lain.
Presiden Jokowi pun meminta semua pihak, termasuk jajaran TNI-Polri, untuk berhati-hati dan waspada dalam menghadapi kompetisi global yang makin kompleks.
“Patut kita syukuri alhamdulillah di tengah krisis dunia yang bertubi-tubi, ketidakpastian ekonomi yang sulit dikalkulasi, perekonomian kita cukup kokoh dan kalau di G20 masuk 3 besar ekonomi yang kondisi growth dan pertumbuhan ekonominya baik. Kita tahu ekonomi kita di tahun 2023 tumbuh 5,05 persen, inflasi terkendali di angka 2,57 persen, kemiskinan turun di angka 9,36 persen, pengangguran turun di angka 5,32 persen, dan GINI rasio (ketimpangan) juga turun di angka 0,388,” jelasnya.
Mengenai isu pertahanan dan keamanan, Presiden menyoroti perlunya TNI dan Polri untuk beradaptasi dengan perkembangan teknologi, termasuk perang siber dan penggunaan drone. Kepala Negara juga mengingatkan tentang pentingnya memperkuat profesionalisme, pelayanan terhadap masyarakat, dan sinergi antarkesatuan.
“Penguasaan iptek jelas akan makin dibutuhkan. TNI-Polri harus menjadi pembelajar yang aktif, pembelajar yang adaptif. TNI-Polri juga harus mampu melakukan deteksi dini, mengambil langkah antisipasi, memperkuat profesionalisme dan pelayanan terhadap masyarakat, memperkuat nilai-nilai TNI Prima, Polri yang Presisi, serta kemanunggalan dengan rakyat,” ungkapnya.
Dalam kesempatan itu, Presiden Jokowi juga mengucapkan terima kasih kepada jajaran TNI dan Polri atas komitmen mereka dalam menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban selama pemilihan umum (pemilu), memastikan proses pemungutan dan penghitungan suara berlangsung aman dan damai. Kepada jajaran TNI-Polri, Presiden pun mengingatkan bahwa masih ada sejumlah tahapan pemilu hingga Oktober nanti yang perlu terus dijaga.
"Perlu juga saya ingatkan masih ada beberapa tahapan pemilu sampai Oktober nanti yang perlu langkah-langkah proaktif untuk menetralisasi residu politik untuk memitigasi disinformasi-disinformasi pemilu serta menjaga kerukunan, menjaga persatuan kita sebagai sebuah bangsa dan negara," tuturnya.
Pada akhir pidato, Jokowi memberikan penghargaan kenaikan pangkat istimewa kepada Menteri Pertahanan Prabowo Subianto sebagai Jenderal TNI Kehormatan. Menurut Presiden, penganugerahan tersebut merupakan bentuk penghargaan dan peneguhan dedikasi kepada rakyat, bangsa, dan negara.

We know that in 2023 our economy will grow 5.05 percent, inflation will be under control at 2.57 percent, poverty will fall at 9.36 percent, unemployment will fall at 5.32 percent, and the GINI ratio (inequality) will also fall at 0.388," he explained.
Regarding defense and security issues, the President highlighted the need for the TNI and Polri to adapt to technological developments, including cyber warfare and the use of drones. On that occasion, President Jokowi also thanked the ranks of the TNI and Polri for their commitment to maintaining security and order during the general election, ensuring that the voting and counting process was safe and peaceful. To the ranks of the TNI-Polri, the President also reminded that there are still a number of election stages until next October that need to be maintained.

At the end of the speech, Jokowi gave Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto a special promotion award as an Honorary TNI General. According to the President, this award is a form of appreciation and confirmation of dedication to the people, nation and state.
