Tangerang, Banten [B2B] - Presiden RI Joko Widodo (Jokowi) meminta presiden dan wakil presiden (wapres) terpilih untuk segera mempersiapkan diri agar bisa langsung bekerja setelah pelantikan.
Hal tersebut disampaikan Presiden menanggapi hasil penetapan Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) RI terkait presiden dan wapres terpilih hasil Pemilihan Presiden (Pilpres) Tahun 2024.
"Ya, ini kan tahapan proses itu kan sudah hampir selesai semuanya, MK sudah. Kita harus menghormati keputusan MK sebagai sebuah putusan yang final dan mengikat. Kemudian, hari ini juga KPU menetapkan. Artinya apa? Presiden dan wakil presiden terpilih harus mempersiapkan diri dengan perencanaan-perencanaan yang sudah dikampanyekan untuk masuk nanti setelah pelantikan langsung kerja," ujar Jokowi dalam keterangan persnya, Rabu (24/04), di Tangerang, Banten.
Meski demikian, Jokowi menegaskan bahwa ia dan jajarannya tidak akan membentuk tim transisi untuk mempersiapkan pergantian pemerintahan.
Menurutnya, pemerintahan saat ini hanya membantu mempersiapkan agar pergantian pemerintahan berjalan mulus dan baik.
“Ini kita itu menyiapkan agar transisinya itu bisa berjalan mulus dan baik, sehingga presiden dan wakil presiden terpilih bisa langsung bekerja setelah dilantik. Kalau, kalau itu juga diminta dari presiden dan wakil presiden terpilih,” ujarnya.
Diketahui, KPU pada Rabu (24/04) telah menetapkan calon presiden dan calon wakil presiden (capres-cawapres) nomor urut 2, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, sebagai presiden dan wapres terpilih hasil Pilpres 2024.

Then, today the KPU also decided. What does that mean? The elected president and vice president must prepare themselves by "plans that have been campaigned for will be implemented immediately after the inauguration," said Jokowi in his press statement, Wednesday (24/04), in Tangerang, Banten.
However, Jokowi emphasized that he and his staff would not form a transition team to prepare for a change of government.
According to him, the current government is only helping to prepare so that the change of government runs smoothly and well.
"We are preparing this so that the transition can run smoothly and well, so that the president and vice president-elect can work immediately after being inaugurated. "If, that is also requested from the president and vice president-elect," he said.
It is known that the KPU on Wednesday (24/04) appointed presidential candidate and vice presidential candidate number 2, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, as the elected president and vice president as a result of the 2024 presidential election.
