Jakarta (B2B) - Partai Demokrat menunjuk mantan Menteri Agama Maftuh Basyuni sebagai Ketua Komite Konvensi, serta menetapkan 16 nama anggota Komite Konvensi Calon Presiden dari Partai Demokrat.
Sekretaris Majelis Tinggi Jero Wacik mengatakan Majelis Tinggi Partai Demokrat memberikan mandat penuh kepada Komite Konvensi untuk menyelenggarakan konvensi. Komite konvensi wajib berpegang teguh pada AD/ART Partai Demokrat.
"Apabila ada persoalan krusial dan fundamental yang tidak diatur dalam pelaksanaan konvensi, Komite wajib berkonsultasi dengan Majelis Tinggi Demokrat.
Menurut Jero Wacik, penjelasan mengenai tugas komite yang lebih rinci, kata Jero, akan diatur dalam tata tertib komite konvensi.
"Tugas komite berakhir setelah calon presiden dan calon wakil presiden ditetapkan," katanya lagi.

Jakarta (B2B) - The Democratic Party appointed former Religious Affairs Minister Maftuh Basyuni as the Head of the Committee, and has finally announced 16 members of the Committee for Presidential Candidate Convention.
The Secretary of the Party´s Supreme Assembly Jero Wacik said Supreme Assembly the Democratic Party give full mandate to the Committee for holding a convention.
"If there are critical and fundamental problems, which are not defined in the convention protocol, the committee must consult with the Supreme Assembly. A more detailed task of the committee will be regulated in the convention protocol," Jero Wacik said in Jakarta.
