Jakarta (B2B) - Survei Saiful Mujani Research and Consulting (SMRC) menyatakan posisi Partai Demokrat hanya mendapat dukungan 8,3%, melorot di bawah perolehan survei pada April-Juli 2008 yang mencapai 8,7 persen. Bandingkan dengan partai politik lain, Partai Golongan Karya (Golkar) meraih dukungan 21,3%, PDI Perjuangan 18,2%, Demokrat 8,3%.
Hasil survei SMRC langsung direspon Sekretaris Dewan Pembina Partai Demokrat Jero Wacik yang mengharapkan Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) sebagai Ketua Dewan Pembina Partai Demokrat untuk segera turun tangan menyelamatkan partai.
"Kami mohon, karena beliau saat ini di luar negeri, beliau di Nigeria dan hari ini juga beliau terbang ke Jeddah. Di manapun beliau berada, SBY sebagai pimpinan kami mohon selamatkan partai kami ini," kata Jero saat jumpa pers di kediamannya, Bintaro, Tangerang, Minggu (3/2).
"Dari survei yang diadakan SMRC, popularitas SBY semakin oke, tapi popularitas partai menurun. Biasa kalau popularitas SBY naik, popularitas partai naik dan kalau popularitas SBY turun, Demokrat turun. Contohnya pada kenaikan harga BBM," lanjut Jero.
Untuk itu, Jero mendesak supaya Ketua Dewan Pembina Partai Demokrat SBY segera turun tangan menjahit 'jas partai' yang sobek. Jero mengharap SBY segera memanggil Ketua Umum Partai Demokrat Anas Urbaningrum.
"Saya mohon dengan sangat selamatkan partai kita, nanti keburu tidak dapat diselamatkan karena Pak SBY masih baik citranya di masyarakat. Pak SBY turun tangan apa panggil Pak Anas, karena dia ketua dewan pembina, karena kita tidak bisa tunggu," lanjutnya.

For that, Jero urged the Democratic Chairman of the Board of Trustees SBY immediately intervene sew 'suit parties' torn. Jero hope SBY immediately called Democratic Party chairman Anas Urbaningrum.
"I plead with you to save our party, then be hurried can not be saved because Pak SBY still good image in the public. Pak SBY to intervene, calling Mr. Anas, because he is chairman of the board of supervisors, because we can not wait," he continued.
