Jakarta (B2B) - Ketua Dewan Pembina Partai Demokrat Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono menggelar pertemuan dengan sejumlah politisi senior Partai Demokrat di Puri Cikeas, Bogor, Jawa Barat, Kamis (7/2) malam. Pertemuan ini membahas prahara yang melanda Partai Demokrat.
Sejumlah petinggi maupun menteri dari partai demokrat akan hadir dalam pertemuan ini. Di antaranya adalah Menteri Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM) Jero Wacik, Menteri Hukum dan HAM Amir Syamsudin, Menteri Koperasi dan UKM Syarief Hasan, Menteri Perhubungan EE Mangindaan, dan Menteri Pemuda dan Olahraga Roy Suryo.
Sekretaris Dewan Pembina Partai Demokrat, Jero Wacik mengatakan pertemuan akan berlangsung pada pukul 21.00 Wib.
Ia mengaku dipanggil SBY untuk melaporkan perkembangan Partai Demokrat saat ini namun tidak merinci agenda pertemuan ini. Jero Wacik juga mengatakan SBY akan memberikan solusi atas prahara yang menimpa Partai Demokrat. Pertemuan ini juga membahas upaya penyelamatan Partai Demokrat.
Sementara itu, Syarief Hasan yang juga Anggota Dewan Kehormatan Partai Demokrat itu mengatakan pertemuan juga akan membahas hasil pertemuan kunjungan Presiden ke Afrika dan Timur Tengah.
Survei Saiful Mujani Research & Consulting menunjukkan tingkat keterpilihan (elektabilitas) Partai Demokrat menjadi 8,3 persen. Diduga merosotnya elektabilitas partai ini akibat sejumlah kasus korupsi yang melibatkan kader Partai Demokrat. Bahkan kasus dugaan korupsi proyek sport center Hambalang, Jawa Barat, yang menyeret nama Ketua Umum Partai Demokrat Anas Urbaningrum.
Dalam jumpa pers di atas pesawat Garuda Indonesia dari Kairo menuju Jakarta, SBY mengatakan telah memiliki sejumlah solusi untuk mengatasi masalah yang ada di Partai Demokrat. Namun solusi tersebut akan dibahas secara internal dalam pertemuan ini.
