Jakarta (B2B) - Gubernur Banten Ratu Atut Chosiyah, resmi dicekal ke luar negeri oleh Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK), terkait kasus dugaan suap perkara sengketa pilkada Lebak di Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK).
Kepastian pencegahan Gubernur Banten itu disampaikan Wakil Menteri Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia (Wamenkumham) Denny Indrayana saat dihubungi wartawan, Kamis malam (3/10).
Denny membenarkan Direktorat Jenderal Imigrasi sudah mendapat permohonan cegah bepergian keluar negeri dari Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi.
"Permohonan cegah Gubernur Banten Ratu Atut sudah kami terima dari KPK sejak siang tadi," kata Denny melalui pesan singkatnya, Kamis malam.
Atut dicegah bersama enam tersangka, yakni Akil Mochtar, Chairun Nisa, Hambith Bintih, Cornelius Nalau, Tubagus Chaery Wardhana, dan Tuti Sur Andayani.
Menurut Juru Bicara KPK, Johan Budi, permohonan pencegahan terhadap Atut untuk pengembangan penyidikan tersangka Tubagus Chery Wardana yang merupakan adik kandung Ratu Atut.
"Permohonan cekal sudah disampaikan ke Direktorat Jenderal Imigrasi Kementerian Hukum dan HAM terhitung sejak Kamis 3 Oktober 2013. Yang bersangkutan dicegah selama 6 bulan ke depan," ujar Johan Budi di Gedung KPK, Jakarta, Jumat (4/10) dini hari.
Johan menuturkan, Atut dicegah buat memudahkan penyidikan. "Agar bila sewaktu-waktu keterangannya dibutuhkan penyidik KPK, Atut sedang tidak berada di luar negeri," tegas Johan.
Tubagus Chaery Wardana merupakan salah satu dari lima tersangka kasus suap yang ditangkap KPK, bersama dengan Ketua Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK) Akil Mochtar. Dia diduga memberikan uang suap sebesar Rp 1 miliar melalui pengacara yang dekat dengan Akil, Susi Tur Andayani.

Atut prevented out of the country with six suspects, namely Akil Mochtar, Chairun Nisa, Hambith Bintih, Cornelius Nalau, Tubagus Chaery Wardhana, and Tuti Sur Andayani.
According to KPK spokesman Johan Budi, the prevention of Atut the petition for inquiry of alleged bribery of suspects Tubagus Chery Wardana who is the younger brother of Ratu Atut.
"Travel ban request has been submitted to the Directorate General of Immigration of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights as of Thursday, October 3, 2013. Banned her to overseas for the next six months," Johan Budi said in the KPK building, Jakarta, early Friday (4/10).
Johan said, prevented Atut make inquiry easier. "If at any time a statement is required by KPK investigators, Atut not abroad," Johan said.
Tubagus Chaery Wardana is one of the five suspects were arrested by KPK, together with the Chairman of the Constitutional Court (MK) Akil Mochtar. He was allegedly gave bribes Rp1 billion through a lawyer close to Mochtar, Susi Tur Andayani.
