Jakarta (B2B) - Menteri BUMN Dahlan Iskan menolak menjadi Ketua Umum Partai Demokrat meskipun hasil survei Lembaga Survei Nasioal (LSN) memunculkan namanya sebagai calon sebagai Ketua Umum Partai Demokrat.
"Tanpa mengurangi rasa hormat kepada para responden LSN, Dahlan Iskan sudah menyatakan bahwa dirinya menolak untuk menjadi Ketua Umum Partai Demokrat," kata Budi Purnomo Karjodihardjo, Koordinator BUMN Care, dalam keterangan resmi di Jakarta, Senin (25/3).
Budi mengungkapkan Dahlan memfokuskan untuk kinerja BUMN untuk memberikan kontribusi bagi masyarakat Indonesia. "Sedangkan menjadi ketua umum partai tentu memerlukan perhatian khusus," ungkapnya.
Seperti diketahui, nama Dahlan Iskan sebagai calon kuat Ketua Umum Partai Demokrat muncul dari hasil survei LSN. Dari 1.230 responden yang dimintai pendapatnya, Menteri BUMN mengantongi suara terbanyak sebesar 24,2%, disusul Mahfud MD di posisi kedua dan Ani Yodhoyono di posisi ketiga.

As is known, the name Dahlan Iskan as a strong candidate for Chairman of the Democratic Party appeared from the survey results LSN. Of 1,230 respondents polled, SOE Minister won the most votes at 24.2%, followed by Mahfud MD in second and third Ani Yodhoyono.
