Jakarta (B2B) - Ketua Majelis Tinggi Partai Demokrat Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) mengritik kinerja Public Relations (Hubungan Masyarakat) Partai Demokrat yang dinilai gagal menyampaikan informasi tentang kinerja pemerintah dan partai.
Kelemahan tersebut mendorong SBY akan memilih langsung kader partai yang diizinkan berbicara kepada pers, dan mereka pula yang diperkenankan hadir dalam acara talk show di televisi. SBY menilai politisi Demokrat tidak cerdas menyampaikan suara dan aspirasi partai.
"Saya melihat public relation yang dijalankan Partai Demokrat selama ini kurang cerdas, sering saling menyudutkan. Bahkan gagal menyampaikan banyak hal yang telah dilakukan oleh pemerintah dan PD sendiri," kata SBY kepada pers di kediamannya di Puri Cikeas, Bogor, Jumat malam (8/2).
Dalam susunan pengurus DPP Partai Demokrat periode 2010-2015 di bawah Ketua Umum, Anas Urbaningrum maka Divisi Komunikasi Publik dipimpin Andi Nurpati dengan sekretaris Hinca Pandjaitan. Sementara Departemen Komunikasi dan Informatika dipimpin Ruhut Poltak Sitompul dan sekretaris, Nurul Qomar.
