Jakarta (B2B) - Pengurus dan kader Partai Golkar diminta untuk membuat strategi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan elektabilitas Aburizal Bakrie (ARB) sebagai calon presiden 2014. Pasalnya, intensitas dan frekuensi kampanye melalui televisi seharusnya mampu meningkatkan elektabilitas ARB, bukan sebaliknya masih jauh di bawah elektabilitas tokoh Golkar lainnya.

"Ada baiknya Golkar mengatur strategi baru, bukan mengganti calon presidennya, mungkin ada yang salah, melihat intensitas iklan di televisi seharusnya elektabilitasnya naik secara siginifikan, saya kira tidak ada iklan sehebat Ical," kata Ketua Dewan Pertimbangan Golkar, Akbar Tandjung pada rapat pimpinan nasional Partai Golkar di Jakarta, Jumat (22/11/2013).

Akbar mengingatkan, semua pihak di Golkar untuk mencermati elektabilitas ARB, baik melalui lembaga survei maupun masukan-masukan dari pihak di luar Golkar.

"Kita lihat penyebabnya, apakah timnya? Atau iklan kurang menarik? Waktu kita ngga panjang," kata mantan Ketua Umum Partai Golkar itu.

"Tapi kita tetap perlu mencermati elektabilitas capres kita. Bukan untuk mengevaluasi, mana yang akan kita jadikan pedoman. Pedomannya adalah hasil lembaga survei, LSI, LIPI, CSIS," jelas Akbar.

Dari lembaga survei tersebut, lanjut Akbar, penting sekali sebagai dasar dan pijakan untuk menentukan langkah-langkah selanjutnya.

Tandjung reminded all parties in Golkar, to look at  ARB electability, either through pollsters and input from outside the Golkar party.

"We see the cause, if his team? Or ads less attractive? There´s not much longer," said the former general chairman the Golkar Party.

"But we still have to watch our candidate´s electability. Was not to evaluate, but determining which one will be the guidelines of survey agencies, such as LSI, LIPI, CSIS," Tandjung said.

Of the survey agencies, he added, is important as a basis for determining the next steps.
