Jakarta (B2B) - Penetapan alokasi impor daging sapi nasional tahun 2012 dilaksanakan pada 14 Desember 2011 pada Rapat Koordinasi Terbatas (Rakortas) ditetapkan sebanyak 85 ribu ton terdiri atas sapi bakalan 283 ribu ton dan daging sapi 34 ribu ton.
"Alokasi semester pertama sebesar 60 persen atau 20.400 ton. Semester dua sebanyak 13.600 ton. Alokasi semester satu lebih besar daripada alokasi semester kedua untuk mengantisipasi permintaan bulan puasa dan Lebaran," kata Menteri Pertanian, Suswono kepada pers untuk
menjelaskan mekanisme penetapan impor daging sapi, sehari setelah kantornya digeledah penyidik Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) di Jakarta, Jumat (1/2),
Menurutnya, penetapan alokasi tersebut sebagai tindak lanjut Rakortas, yakni rapat koordinasi antareselon satu di Kementerian Perdagangan, Kementerian Pertanian, Kementerian Perindustrian dan Kantor Menteri Kordinator Perekonomian.
Dia menambahkan, sejak 2012, alokasi importasi daging sapi nasional ditetapkan melalui analisis permintaan dan penawaran pada Rakortas tingkat menteri di bawah koordinasi Menteri Kordinator Perekonomian berdasarkan usulan Menteri Pertanian dan atau menteri terkait. Ketentuan ini sesuai Peraturan Menteri Pertanian Nomor 50/2011 di Pasal 4 Ayat 2.
"Kemudian ijin impor daging diterbitkan oleh Menteri Perdagangan berupa Surat Persetujuan Impor atau SPI berdasarkan rekomendasi Menteri Pertanian dalam bentuk Rekomendasi Persetujuan Pemasukan (RPP).
"Langkah tersebut sesuai ketentuan UU Nomor 18 tahun 2009 Pasal 59 Ayat 1 dan Peraturan Menteri Pertanian," ungkap Suswono yang didampingi Direktur Jenderal Peternakan, Syukur Iwantoro.
