Jakarta (B2B) - Melemahnya pertumbuhan ekonomi Amerika dan Eropa, mulai berimbas ke Indonesia, dengan turunnya ekspor. Meski pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia tahun ini diprediksi masih bisa mencapai 6,3% dan tertinggi ke dua di Asia setelah China yang diproyeksi tumbuh 8,1%, namun di bawah target pemerintah 6,5%.
Menteri Keuangan Agus Martowardojo mengatakan, potensi pertumbuhan ekonomi yang lebih tinggi yang sebenarnya bisa dicapai jika penyerapan anggaran lebih optimal, tidak dapat dimanfaatkan.
"Penyerapan anggaran tahun 2012 diperkirakan hanya sekitar 90 persen, dengan penyerapan sebesar itu pertumbuhan ekonomi diprediksi mencapai 6,3 persen," kata Agus.
"Secara teori, setiap Rp 10 triliun penyerapan belanja modal bisa mendorong pertumbuhan 0,1%."

Despite Indonesia's economic growth projection of 6.3 percent this year and estimated as the second highest in Asia after China’s 8.1 percent, the final projection is still below the government's initial target of 6.5 percent.
Minister of Finance Agus Martowardojo said the potential for higher economic growth could have been achieved if budget absorption can be fully utilized.
"The 2012 budget absorption may only reach 90 percent – resulting in 6.3 percent growth projection," Agus said.
"In theory, every Rp 10 trillion worth of capital expenditure absorption can encourage growth of 0.1 percent."
