KPK Examines Sofyan Djalil on Corruption Case in PLN

Jakarta (B2B) - Sofyan Djalil, mantan Menteri Negara BUMN era Kabinet Indonesia Bersatu I periode 9 Mei 2007 – 22 Oktober 2009 diperiksa Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi sebagai saksi dalam kasus korupsi pengadan Outsourcing Roll Out Customer Information System Rencana Induk sietem Informasi (CIS-RISI) PT PLN tahun anggaran 2004-2008 dengan tersangka Gani Abdul Gani.
Sofyan Djalil tiba di gedung KPK di kawasan Kuningan pada pukul 09:00 Wib dan keluar pada pukul 11:30 Wib.
Kepada pers, Sofyan mengatakan dipanggil KPK untuk membantu proses penyidikan kasus CIS-RISI. Menurutnya, penyidik KPK menanyakan soal suplier pada proyek tersebut sewaktu menjabat sebagai Komisaris PLN yang dijabatnya pada 1999 hingga Mei 2002.
Sofyan mengaku tidak pernah menyetujui penunjukan langsung pada proyek CIS-RISI. "Ketika saya tidak menjabat sebagai komisaris, program itu tak jalan dan ada penunjukan langsung. Penunjukan langsung itu lah yang bermasalah di kemudian hari. Oleh karena itu, tadi saya ditanyakan dalam konteks kenapa waktu jadi komisaris saya tak setuju."
Sebagai komisaris PLN saat itu, ungkap Sofyan, ia mendorong proyek tersebut digelar melalui tender. Namun setelah tidak menjabat komisaris PLN terjadi penunjukan langsung terhadap perusahaan suplier.
"Saya juga tidak kenal siapa Gani waktu menjabat komisaris PLN. Saya baru kenal setelah menjabat Menkominfo," ungkapnya lagi.
Dalam kasus ini, KPK menetapkan Direktur Umum PT Netway Utama, Gani Abdul Gani sebagai tersangka sejak awal Maret 2012. Gani ditetapkan sebagai tersangka kasus dugaan korupsi pengadaan Outsourcing Roll Out CIS-RISI PT PLN tahun anggaran 2004-2008. Gani diduga menerima pemberian terkait proyek yang diduga merugikan keuangan negara Rp46,18 miliar.
Penetapan Gani sebagai tersangka merupakan hasil pengembangan kasus korupsi CIS-RISI yang menjerat mantan Direktur Utama PT PLN, Eddie Widiono Suwondho. Eddie sendiri telah divonis lima tahun penjara di Pengadilan Tindak Pidana Korupsi Jakarta beberapa waktu lalu.
Eddie dalam putusan terbukti memerintahkan penunjukan langsung kepada PT Netway Utama selaku rekanan proyek CIS-RISI senilai Rp 92,27 Miliar. Eddie Widiono dinyatakan terbukti bersalah melakukan korupsi.
Jakarta (B2B) - Sofyan Djalil,, former State Minister of State-Owned Enterprise in the period of the First Indonesia Bersatu Cabinet ruling from May 9 2007-October 22, 2009, was examined by Corruption Eradication Commission as a witness in corruption case of Outsourcing Roll Out Customer Information System (CIS-RISI) procurement project of State Electricity Company in 2004-2008 budget year with Gani Abdul Gani as the suspect.
Sofyan arrived in KPK office in Kuningan at 9 AM and left it at 11.30 AM.
To reporters, he said that he is summoned by the office to help the investigation of CIS-RISI case. He argued that investigators of KPK ask about suppliers involved in the project when he served as the company’s Commissioner from 1999 until May 2002.
He admitted that he never approved the direct appointment applied for the project. “When I did not serve as the Commissioner, the program stopped and that there was direct appointment. The appointment later on becomes a problem. Hence, I was asked why I did not approve it when I served as the Commissioner.”
At that time holding the post of Commissioner, he said that he urged the project to be launched via tender. But after he no longer held the post, there was a direct appointment for supplier.
“I did not know Gani when I held the post. I know him after serving as Minister of Communication and Information,” he said again.
In this case, KPK named Executive Director of PT Netway Utama, Gani Abdul Gani, as the suspect since early March 2012. He is named as suspect of corruption case of CIS-RISI in PLN in the budget period of 2004-2008. Gani is suspected to receive gratuity related to the project which causes loss to the state worth Rp 46.18 billion.
His status as suspect is the result of deeper investigation on CIS-RISI corruption case ensnaring former Executive Director of PT PLN, Eddie Widiono Suwondho. Eddie has been sentenced for 5 years by Jakarta Anti Corruption Court some time ago.
Eddie is proven to directly appoint PT Netway Utama as partner in the project worth Rp 92.27 billion. He is proven as guilty of corruption.
