Depok, Jabar (B2B) - Sejumlah dosen Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (BSI) kembali menggelar Pengabdian Masyarakat (PM) di DKM Darul Hikmah Depok, Jawa Barat, belum lama ini.
Menyadari pentingnya perkembangan teknologi digital, kali ini materi yang disampaikan terkait pelatihan penggunaan Google Spreadsheet kepada para pelajar di sekolah.
Google Spreadsheet adalah aplikasi spreadsheet dan bagian dari rangkaian Editor Google Dokumen berbasis web gratis yang ditawarkan oleh Google.
Semula Google Spreadsheet tersedia sebagai aplikasi web, namun saat ini Google Spreadsheet juga tersedia untuk aplikasi seluler, baik berbasis Android maupun iOS. Google Spreadsheet juga sebagai aplikasi desktop di ChromeOS Google.
Aplikasi ini kompatibel dengan format file Microsoft Excel dengan keunggulan, keunikan dan kemudahan pemakaian, mendorong para dosen BSI memberikan pengenalan dan pelatihan kepada para siswa dan para guru di DKM Darul Hikmah.
Dalam Google Spreadsheet, pengguna mempunyai fleksibilitas yang lebih besar dalam menangani data yang dikumpulkan.
Pengguna bisa memilih untuk mengurutkan skor peserta didik sehingga dapat dengan mudah mengidentifikasi mereka yang mungkin memerlukan dukungan ekstra atau yang membutuhkan tugas tambahan, jelas Rakhmat Hadi Sucipto SP, MBA.
Dengan belajar sambil praktik, diakui Ahmad, salah satu siwa yang mengikuti pelatihan kalau dirinya jadi lebih mudah memahami dan menggunakan.
Para dosen dan mahasiswa yang mengikuti kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat kali ini tampak antusius dalam sesi praktik, saat memberikan bimbingan kepada para siswa dan para guru di sekolah agar dapat memahami dan bisa menggunakannya. [alif/timhumas universitasbsi]
