HARGA emas di pasar global pekan depan, Senin-Jumat (6-10 Mei), diyakini turun karena fundamental penopang kenaikan harga sudah berakhir.
Survei Bloomberg terhadap 33 analis menyebutkan 20 dari mereka atau sekitar 61% analis memperkirakan harga emas akan turun untuk transkasi Senin-Jumat (6-10 Mei).
Hanya 9 analis (26%) yang masih yakin harga emas masih naik pekan depan, sedangkan 13% analis memprediksikan harga stagnan.
Ole Hansen, Kepala Strategi Komoditas Saxo Bank A/S di Kopenhagen Denmark, mengatakan para investor mulai kehilangan kepercayaan diri terhadap pasar tradisional.
Maksudnya, pasar tradisional adalah permintaan emas di India dan China sebagai negara dengan konsumsi emas terbesar di dunia.
“Fundamentalnya sudah berubah. Investor mulai terlihat keluar dari investasi emas,” katanya.
Harga emas ritel lempengan di Indonesia pekan ini, Senin-Jumat (29 April-3 Mei) secara akumulasi sebenarnya mengalami penurunan Rp6.000 dilihat dari laju kenaikan atau penurunan harga jual emas Antam.
Harga jual Antam turun Rp4.000 pada Senin (29/4/2013), Rp1.000 pada Rabu (1/5), Rp2.000 pada Kamis (2/5), sebelum akhirnya naik Rp1.000 pada Jumat (3/5).
Sementara itu, harga buyback (beli kembali) secara akumulatif pekan ini sebenarnya turun Rp1.000. Antam menaikkan buyback Rp4.000 pada Selasa (30/4), Rp1.000 pada Rabu (1/5), dan Rp4.000 pada Jumat (3/5).
Namun BUMN pertambangan tersebut dua kali menurunkan buyback, yaitu Senin (29/4) Rp4.000 dan Kamis (2/5) Rp6.000, sehingga secara akumulatif buyback Antam turun Rp1.000.
Dengan kata lain, Antam pekan ini benar-benar ingin melepas sebanyak mungkin koleksi emas lempengannya dengan menurunkan harga jual secara akumulatif Rp6.000 dan buyback Rp1.000.

Meanwhile, the buyback price (buy back) cumulatively this week is actually fall 1,000. Antam buyback raise Rp 4,000 on Tuesday (30/4), 1,000 on Wednesday (1/5), and Rp 4,000 on Friday (3/5).
But the state-controlled company twice lowered buyback, ie Monday (29/4) Rp 4,000 and Thursday (2/5) Rp6.000, so that cumulatively buyback Antam fall Rp1,000.
In other words, this week Antam really want to take off as much as possible the dial gold collection with lower prices cumulatively Rp6.000, and buyback Rp1.000.
