ADA kisah menarik di balik pernyataan pers Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) terhadap penetapan Anas Urbaningrum sebagai tersangka dugaan korupsi Hambalang, Jumat malam (22/2).
Setelah ekspose perkara kasus Hambalang Jumat siang (22/2), yang dilakukan setelah pimpinan KPK melaksanakan shalat Jumat, KPK mengumumkan akan memberi konferensi pers malam itu, pukul 19:00 Wib. Namun kenapa yang tampak duduk di ruang auditorium KPK, hanya juru bicara, Johan Budi.
Ketika wartawan bertanya, Johan Budi menjawab singkat: "Saya ditunjuk pimpinan KPK, untuk menjelaskan kepada publik mengenai hasil gelar perkara."
Wartawan pun menertawakan 'kekhawatiran' pimpinan KPK mengumumkan hasil gelar perkara. "Kalau tidak mau, batal aja," seloroh Johan Budi.
Pernyataan pers KPK, diawali dari pencegahan ke luar negeri, bagi Ketua Umum Partai Demokrat, yang suratnya telah dikirimkan ke Direktorat Jenderal Imigrasi Kementerian Hukum dan HAM, usai ekspose perkara tersebut.

Mendengar keputusan KPK, para wartawan yang hadir di ruangan jumpa pers spontan bertepuk tangan. Bahkan ada yang bersorak sorai kegirangan mendengar pengumuman tersebut. Bahkan suara tepuk tangan ini terekam jelas di kamera televisi dan terdengar apabila jumpa pers tersebut diputar ulang.
Tepuk tangan dan kegembiraan saat KPK mengumumkan seorang tersangka korupsi belum pernah terjadi sebelumnya.
"Haha... Tinggal kita liput Anas kalau digantung di Monas," seloroh salah seorang wartawan sambil tertawa.
