Jakarta (B2B) - Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) memeriksa untuk kedua kalinya Ahmad Zainuddin, anggota DPR dari Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS) dan juga anggota Komisi Olahraga DPR pada Jumat (13/9). KPK memeriksa Ahmad Zainuddin terkait dana gratifikasi dalam Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) 2012 di Riau.
"Diperiksa sebagai saksi untuk tersangka RZ (Gubernur Riau nonaktif, Rusli Zainal)," kata Priharsa Nugraha, Kepala Divisi Pemberitaan KPK, Jumat (20/9).
Pada 11 September, KPK juga memeriksa alumnus Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Islam dan Arab Jamiyah Imam Muhammad Ibnu Sa`ud di Jakarta itu juga diinterogasi penyidik KPK dalam kasus yang sama. Informasi dari petugas KPK, Ahmad sudah memenuhi panggilan sejak pagi tadi.
Terungkapnya kasus dugaan korupsi PON Riau 2012 bermula saat KPK mencokok tujuh anggota DPRD Riau pada 3 April 2012 lalu. Dari tangan mereka, KPK menyita uang Rp900 juta yang diduga terkait kasus pembangunan proyek PON 2012 di Riau.
Sejak 2006, Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) Riau telah menggelontorkan duit Rp 3,8 triliun untuk pembangunan proyek PON. Di luar duit itu, pemerintah mengucurkan dana pendukung Rp 456 miliar untuk fasilitas penunjang.
KPK menduga tujuh anggota parlemen menerima dana suap setelah menyetujui revisi Peraturan Daerah Riau Nomor 6 tahun 2010 untuk pembangunan fasilitas PON 2012 di Riau. KPK telah menetapkan 14 tersangka dalam kasus tersebut, termasuk menyeret Ketua DPP Golkar, Rusli Zainal.
Jakarta (B2B) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigated for the second time Ahmad Zainuddin, a lawmaker of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) and member of the House’s Sports Commission, on Friday (20/9). The KPK questioned Ahmad in connection to the graft case surrounding the 2012 National Games (PON) in Riau.
“He will be questioned as a witness for RZ (non-active Riau Governor Rusli Zainal),” KPK Information Division chief Priharsa Nugraha said. The KPK has named RZ as a suspect in the case.
On September 11, the KPK also probed Ahmad, an alumnus of the Islamic Science Institute of Jamiyah Imam Muhammad Ibnu Sa’ud in Jakarta, in the same case. A KPK staffer told reporters Ahmad arrived at the KPK headquarters this morning.
The case began when KPK investigators nabbed seven lawmakers of the Riau Provincial Legislative Council on April 3, 2012. During the arrests, the investigators seized Rp900 million allegedly embezzled from the funds to construct venues for the sports event.
Since 2006, the Riau provincial administration had earmarked Rp3.8 trillion for the construction of the venues. The administration also allocated Rp465 billion in additional funds to build supporting facilities.
The KPK suspected the seven lawmakers had been bribed to approve the revision to Regional Regulation No.6 Year 2010 on the construction of a firing range for PON XVII in Riau. The KPK has named 14 suspects in the case, including chairman of the Golkar Party central board Rusli Zainal.
