Jakarta (B2B) - Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) akhirnya menetapkan Anas Urbaningrum sebagai tersangka kasus dugaan korupsi dalam pembangunan pusat olahraga Hambalang atau proyek lainnya. Ketua Umum Partai Demokrat ini juga dilarang dan dicegah bepergian ke luar negeri.
"Berdasarkan hasil gelar perkara beberapa kali termasuk hari ini, dalam proses penyidikan dan penyelidikan terkait dugaan penerimaan hadiah dan janji terkait proses perencanaan dan pembangunan sport center di Hambalang dan atau proyek lainnya, KPK telah menetapkan saudara AU sebagai tersangka. AU itu mantan anggota DPR," kata Juru Bicara KPK, Johan Budi dalam jumpa pers di Gedung KPK, Jumat (22/2).
KPK mengaku telah menemukan dua alat bukti untuk menetapkan Anas sebagai tersangka. Tapi Johan tidak menjelaskan secara gamblang, apa yang diterima Anas dari megaproyek Hambalang.
"Berdasarkan surat perintah penyidikan disangkakan melanggar Pasal 12 huruf (a) atau (b) atau pasal 11 Undang-Undang Nomor 31 tahun 1999 tentang Pemberantasan Tindak Pidana Korupsi sebagaimana telah diubah dengan Undang-Undang Nomor 20 tahun 2001 juncto Pasal 55 ayat (1) ke-1 Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidana," jelasnya.

Commission claimed to have found two items of evidence to define Anas as a suspect. But Johan did not explain clearly, what is received of megaproject Hambalang Anas.
"Based on the investigation warrant for alleged violation of Article 12 point (a) or (b) or section 11 of Law No. 31 Year 1999 on Eradication of Corruption Act as amended by Act No. 20 of 2001 in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) the first book of the Criminal Justice Act, "he explained.
