Jakarta (B2B) - Ketua Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) Abraham Samad menuding empat pimpinan KPK menghambat dirinya untuk segera menetapkan tersangka dalam kasus Bank Century. Padahal sejak dua bulan lalu telah menemukan pihak yang bertanggung jawab dalam kasus bail out sebesar Rp6,7 triliun itu.
"Tolong dicatat! Dari dua bulan lalu, Abraham Samad sudah menemukan tersangkanya. Tapi ingat, di KPK itu berlaku kolektif kolegial," ujar Abraham di sela kegiatan pameran buku, di Senayan, Jakarta, Senin (19/11).
Akibatnya, kata Abraham, sistem kolektif kolegial membuat ruang geraknya terhambat dalam menelusuri kasus Bank Century.
"KPK itu bukan kayak kejaksaan punya otoritas sendiri. Kita kolektif kolegial. Kalau dari bulan lalu Abraham Samad sudah tentukan dua tersangkanya," tegas Abraham.
Abraham pun turut menuding para penyidik KPK turut menghambat dirinya, meski menjabat sebagai Ketua KPK. "Kalau penyidik belum setuju tidak ada apa-apanya pimpinan itu."
Jakarta (B2B) - Chair of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Abraham Samad, accuses four leaders of KPK of preventing him to soon name suspects of Century Bank case. In fact, since 2 months ago he had found the responsible party for the bail out case amounted to Rp 6.7 trillion.
“Note this! Since 2 months ago Abraham Samad had found the suspect, but remember that KPK upholds collective collegial principle,” says Abraham amidst a book fair event in Senayan, Jakarta on Monday (19/11).
Consequently, he says, the principle restricts him in tracking down the case.
“KPK is not like the Attorney General which has its own authority. We hold collective collegial principle. Since two months ago Abraham Samad had confirmed two suspects,” says Abraham firmly.
He then accuses the KPK investigators of preventing him though he serves as Chair of KPK. “If the investors have not approved that, the Chair can do nothing.”
