Jakarta (B2B) - Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB) melaporkan bahwa jumlah korban tewas dari gempa di Aceh meningkat menjadi, sebelumnya dilaporkan 30 tewas seperti dilaporkan sebelumnya pada Kamis.

Juru Bicara BNPB Sutopo Purwo Nugroho melalui pernyataan resminya melalui bnpb.go.id mengatakan, korban luka mencapai 2.362 orang, 63 luka berat sementara 22.125 lainnya mengungsi akibat gempa.

Tingkat gempa 6,2 skala Richter yang merusak lebih 15.919 rumah dan 623 bangunan publik.

Kabupaten Aceh Tengah menjadi wilayah yang paling terpengaruh oleh gempa dengan 31 korban tewas, empat warga hilang, dan 19.879 lainnya mengungsi dan berlindung ke 70 tempat pengungsian yang tersebar di seluruh kabupaten. Kerusakan melanda 232 dari 352 desa di kabupaten yang paling menderita kerusakan akibat gempa.

Gempa bumi merusak 13.862 rumah penduduk, 5,516 rumah dalam kondisi rusak berat, 2.750 mengalami kerusakan sedang, dan 5.596 rusak ringan, serta 547 bangunan umum seperti bangunan puskesmas, sekolah, dan gedung perkantoran

Sementara itu di Kabupaten Bener Meriah, hanya delapan desa dari 233 desa yang terkena dampak langsung gempa.

BNPB mendapat laporan sembilan warga tewas, 23 terluka dan 2.265 mengungsi karena gempa.

Ada pengungsi membutuhkan pasokan lebih dari tenda dan selimut karena mereka dievakuasi ke tempat-tempat pengungsian sementara di daerah pegunungan suhunya mencapai 14 derajat Celcius pada malam hari, kata Nugroho.

Gempa mengakibatkan kerusakan pada 2.057 rumah penduduk, 662 rusak berat, 311 dengan kerusakan sedang dan 1.184 rusak ringan, dan 76 fasilitas umum.

Gempa berkekuatan 6,2  skala Richter mengguncang provinsi Aceh pada Selasa pukul 02:37 WIB.

Gempa tidak berpotensi menimbulkan tsunami, menurut Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG).

Episentrum gempa berada di 4,70 derajat Lintang Utara dan 96,61 derajat Bujur Timur atau berjarak 35 kilometer barat daya Kabupaten Bener Meriah pada kedalaman 10 kilometer.

The magnitude 6.2 earthquake cast damage to over 15,919 residential houses and 623 public buildings.

Central Aceh District becomes the most affected by the earthquake with 31 dead casualties, four residents missing, and the other 19,879 were displaced and taking refuge to 70 camps spread across the district. As many as 232 out of 352 villages in the district suffered the most damage by the earthquake.

The earthquake damaged 13,862 resident houses; 5,516 with heavy damage, 2,750 suffered medium damage, and 5,596 with minor damage, and also 547 public buildings such as health center buildings, schools, and administration buildings.

Meanwhile in Bener Meriah District, there are only eight of 233 villages directly affected by the earthquake.

The Agency reported nine resident were dead, 23 injured and 2,265 displaced due to the earthquake.

There refugees needed more supply of tents and blanket as they were evacuated to makeshift camps in mountainous area in which the temperature hit 14 degree Celsius at night, Nugroho said.

The 6.2 magnitude earthquake jolted Aceh province on Tuesday at 2.37 p.m Western Indonesia Time.

The quake did not have the potential to cause a tsunami, according to the head of Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG).

The epicenter of the quake was located at 4.70 degrees of Northern Latitude and 96.61 degrees of Eastern Longitude or 35 kilometers southwest of Bener Meriah District at a depth of 10 kilometers.
