Malang (B2B) - Sebanyak empat orang "offroader" tewas di ajang "Majapahit Offroad Adventure" (MOA) XV yang digelar di Kabupaten Malang, Jawa Timur, Minggu (9/12) petang.

Menurut Kapolsek Gedangan, Kabupaten Malang, AKP Z Daud Patty, dari hasil penyelidikan sementara, korban diduga ingin memotong jalur lintasan, sehingga keluar dari jalur tanda panah yang sudah disediakan panitia.

"Karena mungkin ingin cepat sampai, korban memotong jalur lintasan. Namun, kecelakaan tak bisa dihindari dan mobil korban terguling ke sungai," katanya, mengungkapkan.

Keempat korban tewas itu adalah Dadang Kustriana, 60, warga Perum Dinas PT ILL, Kelurahan Leces, Probolinggo, Hj Silvya, 48, warga Jalan Soekarno Hatta dan pasangan suami istri Eko Gatot Riyadi, 50, dan Sri Rahayu, 50, warga Jalan Panglima Sudirman, Probolinggo.

Keempat korban tewas dalam satu mobil jenis Ford Ranger berwarna putih dengan Nopol N-9432-R. Mobil yang ditumpangi korban tersebut bernomor peserta 124.

“Wanting to arrive soon, they took shortcut route, but accident was inevitable and the cars fell into river,” he says.

The four victims were Dadang Kustriana (60), resident of Perum Dinas PT ILL, Leces village, Probolinggo, Hj Silvya (48), who lived on Jalan Soekarno Hatta, and couple Eko Gatot Riyadi (50) and Sri Rahayu (50), who lived on Jalan Panglima Sudirman, Probolinggo.

The victims were killed in a white Ford Ranger with license plate N-9432-R. The number of the car is 124.
