Jakarta (B2B) - Menteri Keuangan Chatib Basri mengatakan pemerintah menyiapkan sejumlah insentif fiskal untuk menjaga pertumbuhan ekonomi tetap di kisaran 6%.
"Instrumen fiskal tersebut diharapkan bisa mendorong ekonomi domestik, khususnya dari sisi konsumsi masyarakat yang masih menjadi penopang utama pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional," kata Chatib Basri.
Menurutnya, keputusan pemerintah menyiapkan insentif fiskal tersebut disebabkan pertumbuhan ekspor dan investasi asing yang melambat, dan belum maksimalnya belanja pemerintah.
"Insentif tersebut diharapkan bisa menggantikan peran sektor-sektor yang mengalami perlambatan sehingga pertumbuhan bisa dijaga di level 6%," katanya lagi.
Jakarta (B2B) - Minister of Finance Chatib Basri said the government is setting up a number of fiscal incentives to maintain economic growth at around six percent.
"Fiscal instruments are expected to push the domestic economy, particularly in terms of private consumption growth which is still the main pillar of the national economy," Chatib Basri said.
According to him, the government´s decision to set up the fiscal incentives is based on export growth slowdown and foreign investment as well as underperformed government spendings.
"The incentive is expected to replace those in the sectors experiencing slowdown growth that could be maintained at a level of six percent," he said.
