Jakarta (B2B) - Paket kebijakan ekonomi Indonesia yang diumumkan Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) sudah basi alias tidak lagi aktual, karena terlambat diterapkan, semestinya langkah-langkah tersebut diterapkan sejak tahun pertama pemerintahan SBY.
"Ini langkah yang telat. Beginilah pemerintah kita selalu telat, karena mengabaikan ruang gerak spekulan di pasar uang," kata Wakil Ketua Komisi XI Harry Azhar Azis di Jakarta, Sabtu (24/8).
Dia menambahkan, DPR akan melangsungkan rapat dengan Forum Koordinasi Stabilitas Sistem Keuangan (FKSSK) untuk membicarakan keadaan keuangan dan langkah-langkah yang ditempuh pemerintah. Pemerintah dan Bank Indonesia (BI) seharusnya dapat mengukur dengan akurat aksi para spekulan di pasar uang.
"Tindakan spekulan di pasar uang seharusnya telah terukur dalam kebijakan ekonomi pemerintah," tambah politisi Golkar ini.
Menurut Harry hal terpenting saat ini adalah bagaimana menetralisir penurunan nilai tukar rupiah. Sejauh ini, lanjut Harry, tidak ada kejelasan. Peluang untuk rupiah melemah akan tetap terjadi. Untuk itu, apakah langkah-langkah pemerintah bisa menyerap nilai ekonomi dari pelaku ekonomi seperti eksportir atau importir.

"The actions of market speculators should have been measured in the government´s economic policy," the Golkar politician added.
According to Harry, the most important thing now is how to neutralize the depreciation of the rupiah. So far, Harry continued, there is no clarity. Possibility rupiah continued to depreciate will still happen, for it is the steps the government can take advantage of the economic value of exporters and importers.
