Jakarta (B2B) - Ekspor batu bara nasional sampai Oktober 2012 mencapai 225 juta ton atau setara 79,23% dari ekspor tahun ini yang diproyeksikan sebesar 284 juta ton.
Data Direktorat Jenderal Mineral dan Batu Bara, Kementerian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral menyebutkan, meski harga batu bara dunia turun, pemerintah memperkirakan ekspor batu bara diproyeksi tumbuh sekitar 4% dari realisasi ekspor tahun 2011 sebesar 273 juta ton.
Asosiasi Pertambangan Batu Bara Indonesia (APBI) mengatakan ekspor dan produksi batu bara nasional tetap tumbuh karena perusahaan besar mampu menggantikan perusahaan kecil yang terkena dampak dari turunnya harga batu bara.
Direktur Eksekutif APBI Supriatna Suhala mengatakan, pertumbuhan terjadi karena pasar yang menjadi tujuan ekspor masih tetap tumbuh.
“Secara volume sampai akhir tahun 2012 akan tetap tumbuh. Ekspor juga demikian, tapi yang jelas nilainya akan turun,” kata Supriatna di Jakarta, Senin (19/11)

The Indonesian Coal Mining Association (APBI) said that national coal export and production continued to grow since large companies could fill in the position of smaller companies affected by the drop in coal price.
Executive Director of APBI Supriatna Sahala said growth occurred due to the export destination markets that were still growing.
“Volume will still grow in 2012-end, and so will export. However, the value will decline,” he said in Jakarta, Monday (19/11).
