Jakarta (B2B) - PT Adaro Energy Tbk menurunkan target rasio pengupasan lapisan penutup (stripping ratio) untuk menekan biaya pada tahun ini. Adaro menargetkan stripping ratio turun menjadi 5,75 kali dari realisasi stipping ratio rata-rata 2012 sebesar 6,4 kali.
Sekretaris Perusahaan Adaro Energy, Devindra Ratzarwin mengatakan penurunan stripping ratio atau nisbah kupas ditargetkan untuk mengurangi beban pendapatan.
"Kenaikan beban pendapatan selama 2012 disebabkan nisbah kupas yang lebih tinggi dari proyeksi 5,9 kali," kata Devindra.
Menurutnya, kenaikan nisbah kupas rata-rata menyebabkan volume pemindahan lapisan tanah penutup (overburden removal) meningkat sehingga menaikan biaya yang harus dibayarkan kontraktor.

Devindra Ratzarwin, Secretary of Adaro Energy, said the decline in stripping ratio is targeted to reduce burden of revenue because in 2012 stripping ratio was higher than the projected 5.9 times.
"The increase in 2012 revenue Stripping Ratio due to higher-than-projected 5.9 times," says Devindra.
According to him, the increase in average stripping ratio led the overburden removal volume to an increase of costs for contractors.
