Jakarta (B2B) - Nilai rupiah naik 65 poin dari posisi sebelumnya menjadi Rp11.330 per dolar AS dalam transaksi antarbank di Jakarta, Jumat sore (27/9). Sementara pada Jumat pagi, rupiah bergerak melemah ke Rp11.445 per dolar AS lantaran dibayangi sentimen negatif eksternal.
Nilai tukar rupiah yang ditransaksikan antarbank di Jakarta pada Jumat pagi bergerak melemah tipis sebesar 50 poin menjadi Rp11.445 dibanding posisi sebelumnya, Kamis (26/9) di Rp11.395 per dolar AS.
Kepala Riset Monex Investindo Futures, Ariston Tjendra, mengatakan pergerakan mata uang dolar AS cederung melemah karena belum ada keputusan kongres di AS mengenai anggaran fiskalnya.
"Ekspektasi pasar adalah tapering (pengurangan) stimulus keuangan AS tetap akan terjadi. Meskipun waktu pelaksanaannya masih menjadi pertanyaan, arahnya sudah jelas," kata Ariston Tjendra.
"Sementara dalam gambaran yang lebih luas, fokus pelaku pasar sedang bergeser kembali ke perdebatan anggaran AS, yang membayangi saham dan investasi," kata dia.
Kepala Riset Trust Securities, Reza Priyambada, menambahkan nilai tukar rupiah kembali berada di area positif terhadap dolar AS setelah dalam beberapa hari terakhir menunjukkan pelemahan.
Meski demikian, ia menambahkan, masih ada sentimen dari potensi pengurangan stimulus keuangan AS dan batas plafon utang AS masih membatasi penguatan rupiah terhadap dolar AS.
