Jakarta (B2B) - Perekonomian Indonesia melambat pada kuartal ketiga tahun ini, dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi hanya 5,2% lebih rendah dari kuartal kedua sebesar 5,8%.
"Ekonomi Indonesia hanya tumbuh 5,62% di kuartal ketiga. Secara kumulatif, pertumbuhan produk domestik bruto 5,83% dibandingkan periode yang sama tahun lalu," kata Kepala Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Suryamin di Jakarta, Rabu (6/11).
Sektor-sektor yang mencatat pertumbuhan tertinggi adalah transportasi dan komunikasi sebesar 10,46%, diikuti oleh real estate dan perumahan 8,09% dan konstruksi 6,24%.
Dibandingkan dengan triwulan sebelumnya, sektor-sektor yang mencatat pertumbuhan tertinggi adalah sektor pertanian, peternakan, kehutanan dan perikanan pada 6,16%, diikuti oleh sektor konstruksi 3,35% serta transportasi dan komunikasi sebesar 3,28%.
Suryamin mencatat bahwa industri pengolahan memberi kontribusi 1,25% terhadap pertumbuhan 5,62 persen pada kuartal ketiga, sementara hotel dan restoran 1,87%, transportasi dan komunikasi 1,05 persen, keuangan, real estate dan jasa perusahaan, 0,77%.
Pelayanan, sementara itu, kontribusinya 0,52%, pertanian, peternakan, kehutanan, perikanan, dan konstruksi masing-masing 0,41%, pertambangan dan penggalian 0,11%, dan listrik, gas dan air bersih 0,03%.
Dalam hal pengeluaran yang terkait dengan pertumbuhan PDB dibandingkan dengan periode yang sama tahun lalu, konsumsi pemerintah menyumbang 8,83%, sedangkan konsumsi rumah tangga menyumbang 5,48%, investasi 4,51%, ekspor 5,26%, dan impor 3,8%.
"Hal ini menunjukkan percepatan penyerapan anggaran oleh pemerintah, terutama untuk tujuan dan layanan non-operasional. Pengeluaran untuk bantuan sosial juga meningkat dibandingkan kuartal sebelumnya," katanya.
Secara kumulatif, pertumbuhan pengeluaran PDB sampai kuartal III 2013 tercatat sebesar 5,83%, dominan disumbang oleh belanja rumah tangga 5,29%, pembentukan modal tetap bruto 4,81%, konsumsi pemerintah 4,05%, ekspor 4,56%, dan impor 1,38%.
Dalam hal struktur, pertumbuhan ekonomi negara tersebut pada kuartal ketiga masih didominasi oleh provinsi di Pulau Jawa memberikan kontribusi 58,2% terhadap PDB, diikuti oleh Sumatera 23,75%, Kalimantan 8,45%, Sulawesi 4,87%, Maluku dan Papua, 2,19%.

"Indonesias economy grew only 5.62 percent in the third quarter. Cumulatively, Indonesias GDP grew 5.83 percent compared with the same period last year," chief of the National Bureau of Statistics, Suryamin, said here on Wednesday.
Sectors that recorded the highest growth were transportation and communication at 10.46 percent, followed by real estate and housing at 8.09 percent and construction at 6.24 percent.
Compared with the previous quarter, sectors that recorded the highest growth are agriculture, livestock, forestry and fisheries at 6.16 percent, followed by construction at 3.35 percent and transportation and communication at 3.28 percent.
Suryamin noted that processing industries contributed 1.25 percent to the 5.62 percent growth in the third quarter, while hotels and restaurants provided 1.87 percent; transportation and communication, 1.05 percent; and finance, real estate and service companies, 0.77 percent.
Services, meanwhile, contributed 0.52 percent; agriculture, animal husbandry, forestry, fisheries, and construction, 0.41 percent each; mining and extracting, 0.11 percent; and electricity, gas and clean water, 0.03 percent.
In terms of expenditures related to the GDP growth compared with that of the same period last year, government consumption contributed 8.83 percent, while household consumption contributed 5.48 percent; investment, 4.51 percent; exports, 5.26 percent; and imports, 3.8 percent.
"This indicates an acceleration in budget absorption by the government, especially for non-operational purposes and services. Expenditures for social assistance also increased compared with the previous quarter," he said.
Cumulatively, the growth of expenditures in the GDP until the third quarter of 2013 was recorded at 5.83 percent, dominantly contributed by household spending at 5.29 percent; gross fixed capital formation, 4.81 percent; government consumption, 4.05 percent; exports, 4.56 percent; and imports, 1.38 percent.
In terms of structure, the countrys economic growth in the third quarter is still dominated by provinces on Java Island contributing 58.2 percent to the GDP, followed by Sumatra, 23.75 percent; Kalimantan, 8.45 percent; Sulawesi, 4.87 percent; and Maluku and Papua, 2.19 percent, he said.
