Jakarta (B2B) - Pemadam Kebakaran Jakarta Pusat mengerahkan hampir semua mobil di kantornya untuk memadamkan kebakaran di Istana Negara. Total ada 35 mobil pemadam kebakaran beserta kendaraan pendukung yang dikerahkan.
"Sebanyak 35 Unit mobil pemadam dikerahkan termasuk sarana pendukung. Sekarang sedang proses pendinginan," kata Kepala Suku Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran Jakarta Pusat, Subejo, Kamis (21/3).
Menurut Subejo, pengerahan kekuatan maksimal dilakukan karena kantor Sekretariat Negara merupakan salah satu obyek vital.
"Tidak sampai 30 menit, api sudah berhasil dikuasai, karena ini obyek vital, kita kerahkan seluruh kekuatan mobil pemadam. Untung airnya banyak," kata Subejo sambil menunjuk sungai di depan Istana Negara.
Kebakaran terjadi di gedung Sekretariat Negara sekitar pukul 17.00 WIB. Hingga pukul 18.20 WIB, pemadam kebakaran masih melakukan pendinginan dengan terus menerus menyemprot gedung itu.

The fire occurred at the State Secretariat building at around 17:00 pm. Until 18:20 pm, firefighters still cooling by continuously spraying the building.
