Jakarta (B2B) - Komisi Yudisial (KY) sepanjang tahun 2012 menerima 1.482 laporan pengaduan masyarakat, memeriksa 482 orang hakim dan merekomendasikan 23 hakim untuk mendapatkan sanksi.

"Selain itu, Majelis Kehormatan Hakim (MKH) juga telah lima kali menggelar sidang yang telah memberhentikan dengan tidak dengan hormat tiga orang hakim," kata juru bicara KY, Asep Rahmat Fajar ketika dihubungi di Jakarta, Minggu (23/12).

Dia menambahkan, dari seleksi calon hakim agung, KY telah melaksanakan dua kali seleksi yang telah menghasilkan 24 calon Hakim Agung.

"Jumlah tersebut diserahkan kepada Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat (DPR) untuk dilaksanakan fit and proper test. Saat ini proses seleksi hakim telah memasuki tahap pembekalan kepada 2003 hakim di Bogor," ungkap Asep.

Pembekalan hakim tersebut merupakan bagian amanat undang-undang di mana seleksi calon hakim dilaksanakan bersama Mahkamah Agung dan Komisi Yudisial. Untuk mendukung amanat itu, telah dibuat Peraturan Bersama MA dan KY Nomor 01/PB/MA/IX/2012- 01/PB/KY/09/2012.
