Jakarta (B2B) - Sekitar 1.091 pegawai negeri sipil (PNS) di Kementerian Dalam Negeri (Kemdagri) terjerat kasus hukum pidana berdasarkan data 2010 hingga 2011. Dari jumlah PNS bermasalah tersebut, 60% di antaranya terjerat kasus korupsi.

Fakta memalukan tersebut dikemukakan Menteri Dalam Negeri, Gamawan Fauzi kepada pers di Istana Merdeka, Jakarta, Rabu (28/11).

"Dalam dua tahun terakhir ini, PNS yang terjerat kasus di daerah, dari 2010 sampai 2011 jumlahnya mencapai 1.091 orang," kata Gamawan.

Dari data tersebut, menurut mantan Gubernur Sumatera Barat ini, laporan PNS bermasalah terus diperbaharui.

Gamawan mengungkapkan, dari jumlah 1.091 PNS yang terjerat kasus pidana, mayoritas tersangkut kasus korupsi. "Mayoritas korupsi, jumlahnya 60% dari total PNS tersebut."

Ketika ditanya lebih lanjut, Gamawan menolak mengungkapkan berapa banyak dari ribuan PNS tersebut yang sudah divonis, menjadi terdakwa maupun masih berstatus tersangka.

Gamawan says that out of the number, most of them are involved ion corruption case. “Most of them are involved in corruption, it is 60% from the total number.”

When asked for further detail, Gamawan refuses to reveal how many civil servants have been sanctioned, confirmed as convicts or suspects.
