Jakarta (B2B) - Polisi menetapkan Vanny Rossyane sebagai tersangka kasus narkoba setelah menjalani pemeriksaan intensif di Direktorat IV Tindak Pidana Narkoba Badan Reserse Kriminal Polri.
Vanny Rossyane ditangkap polisi saat berada di sebuah hotel di Jl Hayam Wuruk, Jakarta Barat, Senin malam (16/9) pukul 22:30. Tindak penangkapan dilakukan setelah polisi mendapat laporan dari warga.
"Telah kami tangkap seorang wanita inisial VR. Yang bersangkutan profesinya mengaku sebagai photo model. Sekarang statusnya sudah ditetapkan sebagai tersangka dan telah dilakukan penahanan," kata Direktur IV Narkoba Bareskrim Polri Brigjen (Pol) Arman Depari dalam jumpa pers di kantor Direktorat IV Tindak Pidana Narkoba Bareskrim Polri, Selasa (17/9/2013).
Menurut Arman Depari, dari hasil tes urine, Vanny terbukti positif menggunakan metamfetamin atau sabu. Barang bukti yang disita berupa narkoba jenis sabu sebanyak dua paket dengan berat masing-masing 0,27 gram dan 0,58 gram. Selain itu, polisi juga menyita sebuah alat isap atau bong dari botol mineral beserta cangklong dan satu buah korek api.
Polisi menetapkan Vanny melanggar asal 112 ayat (1) Undang-Undang Nomor 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika, yaitu menguasai narkotika golongan I, dan subsider Pasal 127 ayat (1) huruf a UU No 35/2009, yaitu penyalahgunaan narkotika golongan I bagi diri sendiri. Vanny diancam hukuman pidana mati, pidana penjara seumur hidup, atau pidana penjara paling singkat 5 tahun dan paling lama 12 tahun.
