Jakarta (B2B) - Setelah menjalani pemeriksaan intensif sejak Selasa (9/4), mantan pebalap nasional Asep Hendro dan tiga orang lainnya dibebaskan Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK). Dari hasil penyelidikan, Asep bersama RT, S dan W diduga menjadi korban pemerasan oleh seorang penyidik Pegawai Negeri Sipil Direktorat Jenderal Pajak berinisial PR.
"Empat orang yakni AH, RT, S, dan W malam ini diperbolehkan pulang. Sementara tersangka PR akan ditahan mulai hari ini hingga 20 hari ke depan," kata Juru Bicara KPK, Johan Budi SP kepada pers di Gedung KPK, Jakarta, Rabu (10/4).
Menurut Johan, PR diduga telah menyalahgunakan wewenang, yakni diduga memeras wajib pajak. Atas perbuatannya dia dijerat Pasal 12 huruf e atau pasal 12 huruf a atau b atau pasal 11 UU No. 31 Tahun 1999 sebagaimana diubah UU No. 20 Tahun 2001.
Soal tempat penahanan, Johan mengatakan para penyidik masih mengkoordinasikan. Menurut dia, KPK pun masih mengembangkan kasus ini.
