Jakarta (B2B) - Lima perusuh saat sidang perselisihan hasil pilkada Maluku digelar di Gedung Mahkamah Konstitusi, di Jakarta, Kamis (14/11), ditangkap polisi.
"Mereka akan dimintai keterangan dan proses lebih lanjut terkait kerusuhan di MK," kata Kepala Bidang Humas Polda Metro Jaya, Komisaris Besar Polisi Rikwanto, di Jakarta, Kamis (14/11).
Rikwanto mengatakan kelima orang itu diduga massa pendukung penggugat dari pasangan kepala daerah dan wakil kepala daerah yang tidak terima dengan hasil putusan MK.
Rikwanto menyebutkan massa yang merusak dari kelompok pasangan H Abdullah Tuasikal - Hendrik Lewerissa (nomor urut satu), Jacobus F Puttileihalat - Arifin Tapi Oyihoe (nomor urut dua) dan H Adhan Dambea - H Inrawanto Hasan (nomor urut empat). Massa pendukung ketiga pasangan itu tidak terima dengan hasil putusan hakim MK.
Kemudian, massa masuk ke ruang sidang utama dan merusak tiga unit layar monitor di ruang lobi, delapan unit mikropon meja di ruang sidang utama, kaca pengumuman, serta satu buah kursi pengunjung.

Dozens of people, believed to be supporters of candidates running for governor, who had lodged a lawsuit against the results of a recent election held in the Maluku province, ran amok in the courtroom of the Constitutional Court after the court ruled against their demand.
"Five persons have been held for questioning and further processing in connection with the rioting at the MK," Jakarta police spokesman Senior Commissioner Rikwanto stated.
Rikwanto further said the rioters are believed to be supporters of H Abdullah Tuasikal-Hendrik Lewerissa, Jacobus F Puttileihalat-Arifi Tapi Oyibhoe, H Adhan Dambea and H Inrawanto Hassan, who had demanded a repeat election due to their dissatisfaction with the results of the recent election.
The rioters had vandalized television monitors, microphones, a glass notice board and chairs in the courtroom.
