Jakarta (B2B) - Polri berhasil mengungkap 32.470 kasus narkoba selama 2013, atau meningkat 22,25% dari 2012 yang mencatat pengungkapan 26.561 kasus.
"Kasus narkoba yang berhasil diungkap oleh Polri sepanjang 2013 meningkat 22,25% dari 2012," kata Kapolri Jenderal Sutarman di Jakarta melalui pernyataan tertulisnya, Jumat (27/12).
Kasus narkoba pada 2013 meliputi 19.362 kasus, meningkat 9,38% dari tahun lalu yang mencapai 17.702 kasus.
Sementara kasus narkoba jenis psikotropika mencapai 1.485, turun 7,48% dari 1.605 kasus pada 2012.
Dia mengingatkan polisi juga mengungkap 11.623 kasus bahan berbahaya, meningkat 60,23% dari 7.254 kasus pada 2012.
Pada kasus yang sama, polisi menangkap 40.057 tersangka narkoba. "Dibandingkan tahun lalu polisi menangkap 32.892 tersangka, pada 2013 terjadi peningkatan 21,78%."

The drug cases in 2013 included 19,362 narcotics cases, up by 9.38 percent from the previous years 17,702 cases.
There were 1,485 psychotropic narcotics cases, down by 7.48 percent from 1,605 cases in 2012.
He noted that the police also disclosed 11,623 cases of hazardous substance, up by 60.23 percent from 7,254 cases in 2012.
That apart, the police also arrested 40,057 narcotics suspects. "Compared to last year when the police nabbed 32,892 suspects, the 2013 figure have shown an increase of 21.78 percent," the police chief pointed out.
