Jakarta Provincial Govt Will Register All Apartments Occupant to Prevent Prostitution

Jakarta (B2B) - Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta melalui Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil dan Satpol PP DKI untuk mendata penghuni apartemen atau rumah susun sederhana milik di ibu kota.
"Kami instruksikan Dinas Dukcapil bersama Satpol PP, RT/RW, dan kelurahan setempat untuk mendata mereka semua tanpa kecuali. Kalau ada yang menolak, laporkan kepada saya. Saya sendiri nanti yang akan mendata mereka," kata Wakil Gubernur DKI Jakarta, Djarot Saiful Hidayat di Jakarta, Senin (27/4).
Dia menambahkan, tidak boleh ada eklusivitas bagi penghuni aparteman. Karena semua penduduk di ibu kota sama di mata pemerintah. "Tidak ada ekslusivitas dalam hal ini. Karena ada yang sangat ekslusif tuh sampai tidak bisa masuk."
Menurut Djarot, apabila Pemprov DKI Jakarta memiliki data yang valid, maka bisa meminimalisir hal-hal negatif, seperti peredaran narkoba, prostitusi, dan lain sebagainya. Selain itu juga bisa menjamin keamanan penghuni apartemen itu sendiri.
Sama halnya seperti warga yang tinggal di perumahan biasa, tamu yang berkunjung ke apartemen juga harus wajib lapor 1x24 jam. Sehingga semua warga yang tinggal di suatu daerah bisa terdata dengan baik.
"Pendataan ini semuanya termasuk ke penghuni sementara, jangankan yang tinggal setahun, tinggal sebulan pun harus didata. Program dulu kan gitu, 1x24 jam harus lapor," ungkapnya.

"We instructed them to register all occupants without exception. If anyone refuses, report them to me. I will register them directly," said Jakarta Deputy Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat here on Monday (4/27).
Mr Hidayat said all citizens are same in the government's eyes so there should be no special occupants. "Sometimes we found some people who very exclusive so we could not even get into their flats, but there is no exclusivity in this matter, all must be registered."
He added, besides to ensure security of the flats occupant, the valid data that can be used by Jakarta Provincial Government to minimize negative things, such as drugs, prostitution, and others.
Moreover, the regulation in ordinary housing will also be applied to the flats occupant; the visitors who come to the apartment also required to report 1x24 hours, so all residents could be registered well.
"This registration also includes the temporary occupants, not only who lives a year, but also the occupants who lives a month should be registered like the last program which requires to reporting after 1x24 hours," Mr Hidayat said.
