Jakarta (B2B) - Perum Badan Urusan Logistik (Bulog) hingga akhir tahun 2016 menyerap beras dari petani hingga 2,9 juta ton dari target 3,2 juta ton atau 92,54% dari target rencana kerja dan anggaran perusahaan (RKAP) 2016, yang mengindikasikan peningkatan ketimbang 2015 yang mencapai 2,6 juta ton dari target 3,2 juta ton atau 81,2%.
Direktur Utama Perum Bulog, Djarot Kusumayakti mengatakan kinerja tersebut membuat Bulog mampu meredam kenaikan harga beras, setelah melakukan operasi pasar cadangan beras pemerintah dan pasar murah untuk beras.
"Saat ini tantangan untuk menjaga ketahanan pangan, khususnya ketersediaan beras ke depan semakin berat lantaran laju pertambahan jumlah penduduk, konversi sumber pangan yang tidak terkendali untuk berbagai kepentingan, namun tidak mudah untuk mendapatkan lahan pengganti," kata Djarot kepada pers di Jakarta pada Selasa (31/1).
Menurutnya, pemerintah sudah cukup berbuat untuk meningkatkan produksi beras melalui gerakan masif dan upaya khusus pencapaian swasembada beras, dan upaya-upaya tersebut harus terus didorong dan dilaksanakan secara konsisten diikuti pembenahan data untuk mendapatkan data yang akurat sehingga dapat diambil kebijakan yang tepat sasaran.
Laba Sebelum Pajak
Kinerja keuangan Bulog pada akhir Desember 2016 unaudited memperoleh laba bersih sebelum pajak (EBT) sebesar Rp841,67 miliar atau 115,67% dari target RKAP sebesar Rp727,67 miliar.
Djarot menambahkan, Bulog pada 2017 menargetkan pendapatan Rp51,4 triliun dengan proyeksi laba sekitar Rp1,1 triliun, sementara tahun ini perolehan pendapatan Rp46,6 triliun dan pada 2015 mencapai Rp42 triliun.
"Sementara target pengadaan beras pada tahun ini meningkat menjadi 3,7 juta ton dibagi untuk public service obligation (PSO) sekitar 3,2 juta ton dan beras komersial 500 ribu ton," kata dia.

"The challenge now is to maintain food security, in particular the availability of rice has become harder because of population growth, uncontrolled land conversion for various purposes, but difficult to get replacement land," Mr Kusumayakti told reporters here on Tuesday (1.31.17).
According to him, the government has bekeruja hard to increase rice production through massive movement and a special effort to achieve rice self-sufficiency, and it must be encouraged and implement consistently followed by improvement of data in order to be accurate to implement the right policy objectives.
Corporate Profits
The Bulog´s financial performance until the end of 2016, got a net profit before taxes (EBT) amounted to 841.67 billion or 115.67% of the target 727.67 billion rupiah.
Mr Kusumayakti added revenue target of Bulog in 2017 reached 51.4 trillion rupiah with a projected profit of about 1.1 trillion rupiah, while this year achieve revenues 46.6 trillion rupiah, and in 2015 reached 42 trillion rupiah.
"While the rice procurement target this year increased to 3.7 million tons for the public service obligation is divided around 3.2 million tons and 500 thousand tons of commercial rice," he said.
