Bandung, Jabar (B2B) - Pemerintahan Joko Widodo - Jusuf Kalla selama empat tahun terakhir, 2014 - 2018, berdampak besar terhadap koperasi dan UKM, khususnya penurunan suku bunga kredit usaha rakyat (KUR) menjadi 7% dan penurunan pajak menjadi 0,5% untuk UKM, sehingga layak disebut sebagai ´masa kejayaan koperasi dan UKM.´
"Luar biasa komitmen Presiden Jokowi. Empat tahun ini adalah tahunnya koperasi dan UKM. Banyak kebijakan yang dikeluarkan pemerintah untuk memberi kemudahan bagi ekonomi kerakyatan," kata Menteri Koperasi dan UKM AAGN Puspayoga saat membuka Musyawarah Nasional I International Council for Small Business (ICSB) Indonesia di Universitas Parahyangan, Bandung, Sabtu (27/10).
Puspayoga menambahkan, perekonomian nasional dalam empat tahun terakhir berjalan baik meskipun terpengaruh dampak ketidakpastian ekonomi global, namun UKM terbukti mampu bertahan menjadi penyangga ekonomi nasional seperti pada 1998.
Menkop UKM menilai keberadaan ICSB sangat strategis untuk mendukung pengembangan UKM menjadi pemain global, dan mengharapkan ICSB mendukung pemerintah untuk mencapai pemerataan pembangunan.
"UKM tidak bisa hanya sebagai pemain domestik tapi harus mampu bersaing ke pasar global," kata Puspayoga.
Presiden ICSB Indonesia Hermawan Kartajaya mengatakan ICSB sebagai organisasi nonprofit membantu pengembangan kewirausahaan di tanah air bersama empat pilar pendukungnya: akademisi, peneliti, pemerintah dan pelaku bisnis.
Pada saat yang sama Hermawan melantik pengurus koordinator wilayah (Korwil) ICSB seluruh Indonesia. Para korwil ini yang akan berperan aktif untuk menggerakkan para UKM di daerah.
Rektor Universitas Parahyangan (Unpar) Bandung) Dr Mangadar Situmorang menyebut ICSB sebagai forum yang mempersatukan berbagai identitas termasuk kampus, untuk membangun ekonomi Indonesia yang lebih kuat dan mensejahterakan rakyat.

Many policies are issued by the government to make it easy for the people's economy," said the Cooperatives and SMEs Minister, AAGN Puspayoga while opened the International Council for Small Business National Conference here on Saturday (October 27).
Minister Puspayoga said existence of the ICSB was very strategic to support development of SMEs become global players, and hoped the ICSB would support the government's program.
Puspayoga said that the national economy in the last four years has run well despite impact of global economy, but SMEs have proven to survive as a national economic buffer such as in 1998.
"SMEs cannot only be domestic players but must be able to compete in the global market," Mr Puspayoga said.
President ICSB Indonesia Hermawan Kartajaya said ICSB as a nonprofit organization helped develop entrepreneurship in Indonesia supported by academics, researchers, government and SME entrepreneurs.
On that occasion, Mr Kertajaya inaugurated the ICSB regional coordinator board across the country, those who will play an active role in driving SMEs in the region.
Rector of the Bandung's Parahyangan University, Dr Mangadar Situmorang called the ICSB a forum that unites various parties including the campus, to support the development of Indonesia's economy stronger and prosperous for the people.
