Jakarta (B2B) - PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL), emiten telekomunikasi melaporkan pengunduran diri Joy Wahjudi sebagai Direktur dan Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
Joy Wahyudi akan bergabung ke Ooredoo Group, induk usaha PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT), yang merupakan kompetitor di industri telekomunikasi domestik.
Meskipun belum langsung menduduki jajaran direksi Indosat, kepindahan Joy Wahyudi memberikan sinyal bahwa persaingan industri telekomunikasi di Indonesia makin ketat.
XL Axiata dan Indosat merupakan operator seluler kedua dan ketiga terbesar di Indonesia dengan pendapatan masing-masing Rp15,9 triliun dan Rp17,8 triliun.

Wahyudi will join Ooredoo Group, the holding company of PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT), which is the competitor company in the domestic telecommunication industry.
Although Wahyudi is not directly placed in the board of directors of Indosat, Wahyudi´s move has given a signal that the Indonesian telecommunications industry competition is getting tighter.
XL Axiata and Indosat are the second and third mobile operators in Indonesia with revenue of Rp 15.9 trillion (US$ 1.30 billion) and Rp 17.8 trillion.
