Jakarta (B2B) - Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources recorded that medium industry would receive electrify subsidy of 16.72 trillion from state budget 2014.
Director of Business Development, Satya Zufanitra said that the value was equal to 20.1 percent of total electricity subsidy of 81.77 trillion IDR in 2014.
"The value decreased compared to 28.5 percent or 28.8 trillion IDR out of 101.21 trillion IDR of total electricity subsidy in 2013," Zufanitra said recently.
This year subsidy will be allocated to I3 category of customers, which used electricity power more than 200 kVA worth 14.95 trillion IDR. About 1.77 trillion IDR will be allocated to I2 customers, which used electricity power in range of 14 kVA to 200 kVA.
In 2014, Indonesian government did not give subsidy to large scale industry, which used power more than 30 MVA. Last year, they got subsidy of 7.71 trillion IDR.
According to Zufanitra, small households (R1 category) received the largest subsidy in 2013 worth 23.67 trillion IDR, followed by medium households (R2 category) worth 1.44 trillion, small business (B1 category) worth 1.13 trillion IDR and social medium (S2 category) worth 1.11 trillion IDR.
