`The APEC Iloilo initiative` as a Result of the 22th APEC SME Ministerial Meeting

Jakarta (B2B) - Pertemuan Menteri Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) Kerjasama Ekonomi Asia Pasifik (APEC) ke-22 di kota Iloilo, Filipina pada Jumat (25/9) menghasilkan kesepakatan 'The APEC Iloilo Initiative' kata Deputi Pengkajian Sumberdaya UMKM, Kementerian Koperasi dan UKM, Meliadi Sembiring.
Meliadi Sembiring selaku pimpinan delegasi Indonesia mewakili Menteri Koperasi dan UKM, AAGN Puspayoga pada pertemuan tersebut mengatakan 'The APEC Iloilo Initiative' mengusung tiga pilar.
"Pilar pertama adalah memfasilitasi pelibatan usaha mikro, kecil dan menengah atau UMKM untuk membangun jejaring bisnis yang melibatkan UMKM di kawasan Asia Pasifik," kata Meliadi Sembiring melalui pernyataan tertulis yang diterima B2B.
Pilar kedua, katanya lagi, membangun kesadaran dan pengetahuan pelaku usaha utamanya usaha mikro dan UKM untuk memahami kebijakan yang terkait dengan perdagangan di kawasan Asia-Psifik termasuk kebijakan retriksi non-tariff.
"Pilar ketiga adalah membangun mekanisme pertukaran informasi terkait perdagangan dan jejaring bisnis lintas batas di kawasan Asia-Pasifik yang mudah untuk diakses oleh usaha mikro dan UKM," kata Meliadi Sembiring
Dia menambahkan pada 23-24 September 2015 di tempat yang sama diselenggarakan pertemuan kelompok kerja UKM APEC atau SMEWG, yang membahas agenda dan proyek kerjasama APEC terkait strategic plan yang meliputi tiga bidang: penciptaan iklim usaha yang kondusif, pembiayaan, dan internasionalisasi UKM.
Pertemuan SMEWG berikutnya akan diselenggarakan pada 2016 di Vietnam, yang juga akan merumuskan Strategic Plan 2016-2020, sebagai tahap akhir menjelang diberlakukannya pasar bebas APEC secara penuh pada 2020 sesuai amanat 'Bogor Goals.'
Meliadi mengatakan, Indonesia juga melaksanakan pertemuan bilateral dengan Hong Kong dan Malaysia untuk dilakukan pertukaran kebijakan pemberdayaan UKM, pertukaran informasi program promosi bertaraf internasional serta membahas peluang kerjasama antar pelaku usaha.
Turut hadir di kota Iloilo, Staf Ahli Menteri Koperasi dan UKM, Hasan Jauhari dan Asisten Deputi Urusan Penelitian Sumberdaya UKM, Daniel Asnur mendampingi Meliadi Sembiring.
Jakarta (B2B) - The 22th APEC SME Ministerial Meeting in Iloilo city Philippines on Friday (9/25) resulted in an agreement 'The APEC Iloilo Initiative' according to Indonesian senior official, Meliadi Sembiring as the chairman of delegation represent Indonesian Cooperatives and SMEs Minister, AAGN Puspayoga in that meeting.
Mr Sembiring as the Indonesia's Deputy Assessment Resource SMEs said "The APEC Iloilo Initiative 'carries three pillars.
"The first pillar facilitating business matching involving Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises or MSMEs to build business networks involving SMEs in the Asia Pacific region," he said through a written statement of the public relation of the ministry.
The second pillar, Mr Sembiring said, to enhancing MSMEs awareness and feedback on trade regulation, to build awareness and knowledge of the main businesses are micro businesses and SMEs to understand the trade-related policies in the Asia-Pacific region, including non-tariff restriction policy.
"The third pillar is to improving mechanism of knowledge sharing, with the intention of build a mechanism for exchange of trade related information and cross-border business networks in the Asia-Pacific region are easily accessible to the micro and SMEs," he said.
He added on 23 to 24 September 2015 in the same place hosted the APEC SME Working Group meeting or SMEWG, which discusses the APEC agenda and cooperation projects related to the strategic plan related to the creation of a conducive business climate, financing, and internationalization of SMEs.
According to him, Indonesia also held a bilateral meeting with a delegation of Hong Kong and Malaysia, to the exchange policy of empowerment of SMEs, the exchange of international information campaign program, and discuss cooperation opportunities of SMEs.
Also attended the Expert Staff of Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs, Hasan Jauhari and Deputy Assistant for Research Resources of SMEs, Daniel Asnur who accompanied Mr Sembiring in Iloilo city.
