Jakarta (B2B) -  Tingkat optimisme konsumen di Indonesia tahun lalu tercatat yang tertinggi di dunia, di antara negara-negara dengan tingkat pertumbuhan ekonomi yang pesat saat ini, yakni Brazil, Rusia, India, dan China, menurut riset The Boston Consulting Group.

Tingkat optimisme tersebut diukur dari keyakinan akan keadaan finansial konsumen kelas menengah ke atas (middle and affluent consumers).

"Berdasarkan hasil survei terhadap konsumen di perkotaan tahun lalu, 31% konsumen kelas menengah-atas di Indonesia optimistis terhadap kondisi keuangan mereka," ujar Vaishali Rastogi, Managing Director Boston Consulting Group untuk Asia Tenggara.

Persentase tersebut lebih tinggi dari India (19%), Rusia (15%), China (14%), dan Brazil (13%).

The level of optimism measured by the consumer confidence in the financial situation to the upper middle class (middle and affluent consumers).

“Based on the survey on urban consumers last year, 31 percent of middle-uppoer consumers in Indonesia were optimistic on their financial condition,” said Vaishali Rastogi, Managing Director of Boston Consulting Group for Southeast Asia.

The percentage is higher than India (19 percent), Russia (15 percent), China (14 percent) and Brazil (13 percent).
