Jakarta (B2B) - "Apakah yang pertama-tama Anda ingat jika mendengar nama tokoh tersebut?"
Pertanyaan tersebut diajukan Lembaga Klimatologi Politik (LKP) dalam jajak pendapat pada 1-10 November 2013, dengan memaparkan 12 tokoh yang merupakan ketua umum partai politik.
Hasilnya? Sebanyak 34.9% responden LKP dari seluruh Indonesia mengasosiasikan nama Aburizal Bakrie (ARB) dengan kasus Lumpur Lapindo. Sementara itu, 25,7% responden mengasosiasikan Ical sebagai calon presiden, 19,9% sebagai Ketua Umum Partai Golkar, dan 19,5% sebagai pengusaha.
"Popularitas ARB sebagai calon presiden di bawah Ketua Umum Partai Hati Nurani Rakyat (Hanura) yang dikenal publik sebagai calon presiden yakni 34,3%. Namun kami tidak mencantumkan Prabowo Subianto dan Joko Widodo dalam survei, karena keduanya bukan ketua umum partai politik," kata Peneliti LKP, Usman Rachman kepada pers di Jakarta, Minggu (17/11).
Menurut Usman, kurang berhasilnya ARB mengasosiasikan dirinya dengan jabatan sebagai ketua umum dan calon presiden diperparah dengan isu Lumpur Lapindo.
Dia menambahkan, publik juga melekatkan kandidat lain dengan sejumlah kasus seperti kasus Semanggi. "Tapi masyarakat cenderung lupa masalah hukum dan HAM. Sementara untuk kasus Lapindo, peristiwanya masih sangat melekat."
Survei nasional LKP dilaksanakan pada 1-10 November 2013 di 34 provinsi di seluruh Indonesia, dengan responden berusia 17 tahun dan/atau belum 17 tahun tapi sudah menikah. Jumlah sampel mencapai 1.070 responden dengan pengambilan sampel secara acak bertingkat (multistage randon sampling). Margin of error +/- 3% dengan tingkat kepercayaan (level of confidence) sebesar 95%.
"Jajak pendapat yang dibiayai dari dana swadaya ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan melalui wawancara dengan responden melalui kuesioner. Untuk uji validitas, tim peneliti LKP melakukan spot check 10% dari total sampel," ungkap Usman.

According to Rahman, less successful ARB associate his name as a political party chairman and presidential candidate exacerbated by mudflow issue.
