Jakarta (B2B) - Menteri Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan (LHK) Siti Nurbaya melakukan kunjungan kerja ke Oslo untuk membahas kelanjutan 'Letter of Intent' (LoI) dengan Menteri Iklim dan Lingkungan Norwegia, Tine Sundtoft terkait fase transisi dengan program prioritas menuju fase kedua mulai Oktober 2015.
Pertemuan bilateral tersebut berlangsung di Oslo, ibu kota Norwegia pada Jumat (4/9) dan kedua menteri wanita ini membahas mekanisme pendanaan dan percontohan result based payment di beberapa provinsi, sebelum implementasi penuh mulai 2018.
"Inovasi mengenai renewable energy di Norwegia tergolong sangat maju dengan melibatkan peran swasta, sebagai contoh inovasi renewable energy dan pengelolaan sampah oleh ROAF yang efisien dan serba otomatis padahal baru dikembangkan setahun lalu dan dikatakan sebagai terbaik di dunia," kata Menteri Siti Nurbaya melalui pernyataan tertulis dari Biro Humas Kementerian LHK yang diterima B2B pada Senin (7/9).
Turut hadir Utusan Khusus Presiden Bidang Perubahan Iklim, Rachmat Witoelar; Direktur Jenderal Perubahan Iklim KLHK Nur Masripatin, Karo Kerjasama Luar Negeri KLHK Sri Murniningtyas, dan Kepala Biro Perencanaan KLHK Helmi Basalamah.
Menurut Menteri LHK, kedua pihak juga membahas Intended Nationally Determined Contribution (INDC), Norwegia telah menyampaikan INDC ke Sekretariat UNFCCC tentang pengurangan emisi pada 2012 - 2030 hingga 40% dibandingkan pada 1990. Namun Norwegia menekankan implementasi kegiatan domestik dan bersama Uni Eropa ketimbang dengan negara-negara berkembang.
"Indonesia direncanakan menyampaikan INDC pada minggu kedua atau ketiga September 2015, yang berencana menurunkan emisi 29% dari besaran business as usual pada 2030, yang dihitung dari proyeksi berdasarkan trajektori 2000-2010," kata Siti Nurbaya.
Kepala Biro Humas KLHK, Eka W Soegiri mengatakan Menteri KLHK Siti Nurbaya berada di Norwegia dalam kunjungan kerja selama dua hari atas undangan Perdana Menteri Norwegia Erna Solberg kepada Presiden RI Joko Widodo.
Setiba di Oslo pada Kamis (3/9), Menteri Siti Nurbaya beserta rombongan dijamu makan malam oleh Menteri Tine Sundtoft dilanjutkan pertemuan pada keesokan harinya. Delegasi Indonesia juga sempat bertemu sejumlah anggota parlemen, beberapa LSM, dan mengunjungi fasilitas pengelolaan sampah ROAF yang dikelola oleh pemerintah kota Oslo.

The bilateral meeting was held in Oslo, the Norwegian capital on Friday (9/4) and two women ministers discussed funding mechanisms, and pilot result-based payment in several provinces in Indonesia, prior to full implementation in 2018.
"Innovation renewable energy in Norway is very advanced, involving private companies, as an example of innovative renewable energy and waste management by ROAF, which works efficiently and fully automated and regarded as the best in the world," said Minister Nurbaya through a written statement of the Public Relations Bureau in the ministry and was received by B2B on Monday (7/9).
The Minister was accompanied by the President's Special Envoy for Climate Change, Rachmat Witoelar; Director General of Climate Change Masripatin Nur, Head of Foreign Cooperation Bureau Sri Murniningtyas, and Head of Planning Bureau Helmi Basalamah.
According to Mrs Nurbaya, the two sides also discussed Intended Nationally Determined Contribution (INDC), and Norway has submitted documents to the UNFCCC secretariat, on the reduction of emissions in 2012 to 2030 by 40% compared to 1990. However, Norway stressed the implementation of domestic activities and joint EU than cooperating with developing countries.
"Indonesia planned to deliver INDC on the second or third week of September 2015, which plans to reduce emissions by 29% by 2030, which is calculated from a projection based on the trajectory of 2000-2010," she said.
The Head of Public Relations Bureau in the ministry, Eka W Soegiri said Minister Mrs Nurbaya was in Norway in a two-day working visit invited of the Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg to the President Joko Widodo.
Upon arrival in Oslo on Thursday (3/9) Minister Mrs Nurbaya and her entourage were hosted dinner by Minister Sundtoft, then continued the meeting the next day. The Indonesian delegation also met a number of MPs, NGOs, and visited the waste management facilities of ROAF which is managed by the Oslo city government.
